give formatting options like bold, italics, font change, point size change etc. while composing a message.

It's ridiculous that the Outlook for Android app doesn't allow for this...
It makes it completely obvious when one is working Outside of the Office and it doesn't look professional at all. -

There is this company called Microsoft, it has a product called Outlook, the mobile app doesn't come with the basics for text formating.
I've heard of minimum viable product but this takes the biscuit.
