I now have clients that want to migrate back to G Suite because of this. Please fix ASAP or you will loose many subscriptions. Works fine on iPhone but Outlook for Android remains a problem.

I want to choose the size of the photos I send on email and they need to be attached as jpg so they can be downloaded and printed. Preferably not upside down !!

it's ridiculous that Outlook for android attaches images in the body of the message instead as an attachment. It is a disgrace that Microsoft has changed the old way that was convenient and ignores hundreds of requests to add the posibility of attatcing images as attachments!

So thousands of users want the ability to attach jpg files as opposed to embedding the pix in email text, but you are not doing anything about it. Wake up and take action!

Other files can be included as attachment (for example .pdf). Why does this not work with .jpg-files?
Stephen McCormack commented
when adding photos, do not embed them in the email. add them as Jpeg files to be opened
This is long overdue for resolution and should work like the desktop product. Why are mobile devices any different? Inconsistent product design is a bad thing
PLEASE change this asap. As a business we need reliable tools. This functionality is a necessity. I will soon need to remove Outlook as my main email system because of this. Sad, but I need simplicity and efficiency in my business.

I have to email pictures to myself from the field, then go through the hassle to save each picture to my computer manually instead of dragging and dropping.
Ok there is some big issue with no option of attach image. Outlook is a part of Office 365 Business, and if I enable default security settings in Azure Portal which is a requirement from Microsoft my clients not able to use other app to mailing. If can't use another app and cannot attach image they will change the provider so Microsoft and my company will lose customers. If a company is required to send mail this way (attach image / not an embedded) there is nothing to do. I think my story is clear, Outlook also created for business. I can't understand why is so big problem add this option.

i have to send images from my Gmail account to avoid this.

***** Microsoft for making it impossible to attach a photo from an Android phone..Use Gmail and its not a problem...guess I'll switch my business to someone who actually cares about what their clients want and not shove something as stupid and MS version for Android up my ****..kiss my $ss..MS!

allow images as attachments as it was before.
No TRUE attachements?? Even on a paid monthly 365 business service! Fix this Microsoft. Inline attachments are not acceptable!

images in the message body is good but recipients are unable to see them. this has happened multiple times with multiple recipients.

Outlook app on Android is attaching pictures as inline pix, and not as Attachments (and no option to pick).
Not an acceptable option. Why would Microsoft decide what we all have to like, vs giving an option, as is done in the Outlook desktop app? Having pix inline is often a very stupid design in many cases, and there is no option to select our preference. With inline picture, the reader often sees a picture that is WAY too big, etc. Most businesses want pictures AS AN ATTACHMENT.
It appears that there are many other threads on this issue...
And sadly nothing gets done. Not good.

this functionality is so common for a nowadays email client that I cannot believe it isn't part of the leading Microsoft mail app. Please adjust before Mr Gates has to get headache cause of leaving user/customer.
