Need the option of making/marking calendar entries "private"
I share my work calendar, so there are times I want to add an event, but mark it as private so not everyone can see the details of that appt....just that I am busy during that time frame. This app does not offer this option, but most all others do.
Hey there! When creating a calendar event you can now choose to keep that event private by scrolling to the bottom of the event creation screen and tapping on the toggle icon next to private.
If you have any trouble with this feature please contact our in app support team from the settings portion of the app.

be able to mark an appointment as privat
Function (simple) to mark appointments private in outlook for android. It is default in most calendar apps.
I don't know about everyone who's posted here in the past month, but my Android Outlook Mobile client was last updated on Dec. 18th and it has the ability to mark events as private. It's only the status on this thread that hasn't been updated.

What's the hold up MS? This was announced in October 2017. It's a check box for crying out loud!
this is absolutely necessary!

It would be great if the function set private will be implemented in Outlook for Android. Without this function I will not use outlook for Android any more.

it's a shame that Microsoft hasn't realized this feature in Outlook for Android yet.
Really can't understand why.
For me the App is not usable without this feature.

This effectively prevents me from using the app to create calendar events since I use Outlook calendar for business and personal.
We should be able to cancel meetings on the app. Right now if I'm away from the office and need to cancel, I can't and have to call someone else in the office to cancel for me.
