    show a full week in the calendar and show the week numbers. this is standard in every normal calender

    This is really needed, and exactly as mentioned: aCalendar weekly view is the best. Please, take it as a template. Thanks.

    look at aCalendar for a really good ui. My only reason to use Outlook calendar is because the sync with office 365 on aCal is not totally reliable on android whereas Outlook is. But the Outlook ui is so bad that I still use aCal until I spot another sync problem! I only check outlook when I want to make sure

    Just recently switched from Windows 10 mobile to android. Design of the calendar (glance ability) is an important aspect. I think Microsoft got it right with the Ui on Windows phone. It's more relevantly compact in day view. Week view in outlook for android shows only 3 days, oddly landscape shows 7 days. These inconsistencies make the calendar view dysfunctional in everyday use. Can't imagine this was scrutinised at quality control, or approved internally at Microsoft. The design is out of touch. Even the spacing of viewing week view in landscape is abysmally small. Only half of the height in landscape mode. Hardly usable at a glance. The other half is a block for all day events, half of the time empty and wasted space on screen. It may fit androids material design, but it is not a functional one. I think itw ould help to hire a designer at Microsoft, instead of a developer to look at the calendar design. Personally I would have hired the developer from chronosphere who developed the Chronos uwp calendar app for Windows and Windows mobile for more design and customization options in outlook for android. It has some great customization features.

    Calendar weeks are important if you intend to use the calendar for planning of your dates and meetings both in business and in private.
