While forwarding or replying, please do not strip html format.
The reply or forward strips the html formatting. Please let the android app for outlook retain the html formatting.

replying to an email in the mobile app has become a chore, but why is it all but impossible to apply basic formatting? if I cut & paste my default format is changed to whatever was pasted. if this happens several times, it looks like Alf barfed on the email. but when I took around the controls available to me here I see nothing that applies formatting.

App preserve proper formatting/font during first email. if it is a response to an existing email, formatting is not correct, even when it's a Reply All, without expanding the existing conversation.

forward or reply the HTML mails, as it is.. replying or forwarding a matrix as a plain text is so much confusing.. else no use in this app..

I may receive a nicely formatted email with bullet points or numbered points etc, but upon forwarding everything scrambles into one jumbled mess cramming all text together. Not good. We are more and more using the Outlook phone app for business but it is really deficient in this regard. Because of this many times productivity is lost because you have to wait to get to your laptop to forward with the proper context & meaning of the original email you are forwarding.

When forwarding emails it completely changes the format and messes it all up and in some cases makes the email difficult to read. If it could stay in the same format as original email like gmail does it would be much better.

This is an urgent need. Always have to open Gmail client for this. Even the basic iPhone client can do this.

Even if I tap the load full message while I'm forwarding it, all it is is just plain text. Looks horrible and make me have to use a whole different program just to simple forward an email.

In the Windows Phone version of the Outlook mobile client, the original formatting of all mail you responded was preserved as originally written, in the few months on the mobile client, this is no longer the case. Embedded tables, pictures, bullets, etc... become a flat text list thus making it hard for others to see the mail as intended if you reply via the mobile client.

We can't edit the draft mail in the app which is saved in desktop outlook. As soon as we click on edit it eliminates all the previous formatting. This issue should be resolved to have better experience.

When replying to an email, Outlook removes any images, such as the sender's logo from their email and turns it into plain text. When I forward invoices in emails to my accountant, I need them to see it as originally formatted.

Currently, the app removes ALL formatting which includes images & buttons when an email is forwarded using the app despite users already tapping on "Load Full Message". This is ridiculous as the Outlook App DOES NOT indeed "Load Full Message". A message doesn't just consists of the text in it, it also includes the images. I can't comprehend how such a vital feature was not been included in this app & the developers have yet to do so. Completely ridiculous.

I had the same problem and this is the answer for forwarding html mail.
Here are the news:
This is how the app works but there is a gotcha in there.
When you forward the email without tap in the load more, the message is going to be sent keeping the HTML format.
If you tap on the load full message the app is not able to compose HTML emails, that's why it generates that ugly plain text. -

This feature is necessary for me to continue to use the app. Without HTML formatting, most forwarded emails become unreadable. I use my phone to go through most of my emails so I will be using to the Samsung mail app until this is fixed.
