include a junk/spam/phishing button on the app
make it possible and easy to mark mail as junk, spam, and phishing
Thank you for using Outlook Mobile and sharing your ideas with us. We really appreciate your support.
You can now move emails to any folder you wish including the Spam folder, by simply choosing the “more options” icon within the message (3 dots) > tap move> choose the folder you would like to move the email to. You can also move multiple emails by selecting them from the inbox view, tap the 3 dot icon > tap move then choose the folder you would like to move to. For outlook.com accounts only, sending items to spam will be picked up as a signal by our reporting team and will lead to the sender being blocked. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out at Settings > Help & Feedback > Contact Support.
PS: Please use the Help Section of the app for any questions, we are not able to see replies to this address.
All the best
The Outlook Mobile Team

I have to login via a browser, request desktop version then flag as a phishing scam. This is getting rather tedious.....

I screen captured what I was going to say but now I see no option to attach an image :(
Phishing is much worse than spam; you have the option to report it on desktop, and if that is worth having (i.e. it actually does something?) then it would be worth having on mobile please. Am I right?
This solves the spam party of the request, but leaves the phishing part unanswered. Phishing is much worse than spam; you have the option to report it on desktop, and if that is worth having (i.e. it actually does something?) then it would be worth having on mobile please. Am I right?

I have to flag emails now because I'm not able to mark any as spam. The flagged emails still come in though. Hot Russians do not want to meet me. I do not want to be bothered by a couple dozen junk mail a week, in the email that is only intended to communicate with my kid's teachers.

this is not the feature requested. please include a "Mark as spam" and use this information for your filters. This is a critical feature

I want to mark mails as spam, not just move them into the spam folder

Sounds like a cop out. You've asked what we want, we've said and now you're telling us why you won't be doing it.

Use to have this feature back in the day with Hotmail.
Moving an email to the Spam folder is not enough. Phishing emails should be dealt with differently.

I get too much phishing emails and perverted emails. need to stop them from emailing me

We used to have it with Hotmail! Why would you delete such an increasingly neccessary feature? Because you can't do anything about the reports?? Maybe you should just admit it.

This issue has made me think about changing to another email provider. How should I let you guys know there is a suspicious e-mail?This worries me.I have flagged them but doesn't seem effective.

Agreed, this is not the same thing as a specific report as phishing scam feature. You are microsoft, figure it out.
