contact search function
I suggest that the Outlook contacts be available for search in the phone contacts function or Android contact function. if I allow my Outlook contacts in my Gmail contacts to be shown on my phone, I should be able to see my contacts from Outlook and Gmail to select the contact I want to call. my Enterprise contact should be available to be seen on my phone without me having to access the Outlook app.

Search only searches the display name of a contact and not detail, company, or other fields. It greatly impacts its functionality. Search on mobile should work like Search on desktop.

please add search to the "people" or contacts in Outlook for Android... hard to believe it doesn't already have a search tool...
Add a contacts section to the app such that I can search for contacts in my Exchange address book . Then add them to my phone.

This is a very irritating issue, and also close to an integrity issue!

give me a direct access to contacts with a search option
searching everything for a contact phone number who sends lots of email gets lost in the noise.

Many times I cannot find the right contact at all ending up scrolling thru thousands of contacts in the All Contacts view. Not even jumping to the first letter is working there.

Why is the contact feature not more like the windows version of outlook? Need to search by letter and category. Also search doesn't work for contacts, why?

Give me the opportunity to search for all of my Contacts in Outlook.
I have a Samaung Galaxy S8+ and looking up contacts (from thousands) used to be fast, but has now become painfully slow a few months ago to the point that I want to change to my old iPhone S6 as it is MUCH faster looking up my contacts to send an email, which is was the case eay Samsung.

After searching for a contact using first name and last name ( used when you have multiple contacts with same first name), you can press the back button. This takes you back to all contacts that match the first name. Not ideal if all you want to do is return to your emails.

My request should not have been merged with this parent request.
I simply want a search field when I am in "People" in the Outlook app. (The app is backwards and has search before People, but there should be a dedicated "people" section as well that is usable so we don't have to completely rely on the Android contacts app.
The parent is asking for something different.

I have been trying to locate an email address for a professor who I have not yet taken a class with, but can't find it because the search doesn't allow for it.
Search all fields. For example, it doesn't even searh company name.

Its very easy in samsung android mail app. Whenever I search any name, it shows my ph contact and also shows the exchange contacts separately in down with heading other contacts.

you have made it more complex. choosing "all accounts" from drop down list does not get data from all accounts.
