Notifications on Android Improvement
The notification for meetings and other calendar events is shown by a small notification in the notification bar - far too small and insignificant to be effective as they are easily missed. These notification need to be full screen so they are obvious, while allowing the user to snooze the reminder, cancel the notification, or bring up the meeting or reminder for further review.

In Case of an in app notefication, a little grey mark appears at the logo of the E-Mail Account. In the case, that you have no information in the Handy notefications, but the app says, that there is something unread or other Events, you don't know what it means. Maybe you can open up a littel window, where these notefications are more explaind.

Hi, I have the notifications set to "all mail". I have also folders for better sorting and I don't receive notifications for the E-Mails that are going directly into the folders. Is there a way for it or possibility to choose the folders for which I want notifications. Thanks.
I use accessibility software which reads Outlook notifications and forwards them to my watch. Since Outlook notifications are very messy (see title), notifications are forwarded multiple times, calendar notifications repeat every minute, etc. A clean, Android standard implementation of OL notifications could sort this all out.

Notifications are CONSTANTLY breaking for Outlook, requiring removing and readding accounts (it's a 50-50 shot whether resetting an account will even function, let alone fix this problem). I often stop getting notifications on an account. Other times, I receive reminders for events over and over, which is infuriating. Please please fix this!!
Under Inbox I have created multiple folders for respective individuals I am working with.
For those folders if there is any communication for the same I am not getting any notification at the moment. I will have to check the folders manually for any new incoming emails.
if this can be resolved, it will be really helpful.

Don't receive notifications from folders

When I read email on desktop, notification should disappear.
Notification actions should be customizable.
Few recent updates seem to make the push notification broken or problematic. Please fix and improve the push notification. Mails do arrive but no notification appear.

I don't receive a notification for the new emails!
I object to my suggestion being merged here. The previous post had nothing to do with Android specific notifications, or the stylistic issues noted in this thread.
I want to be able to get notifications only on emails that truly matter. I may only want emails where I'm on the To line, or it may be time to freak out if I'm emailed through firstname.lastname@example.org. I want wholly personalizable notification rules, by from/to/subj/importance/folder/etc.
Far too much makes it past the Focused Inbox filter or bypasses it entirely to make that the only option.
Let me decide and help.you learn what matters to me, as I can with Gmail and other smarter email systems. Simple all folders vs focused inbox only negates the utility of all of my Outlook rules that help me prioritize my work on your web and desktop experience.

currently I get a notification of unread emails only to open the app and see nothing. either update the notifications when you cycle the application refresh or redesign them separately so I don't see pending email when there is none that haven't already been read

I get a lot of notifications emails, and many have the same subject because they're pagers for IT alerts. these show up in Android Notifications and are a PAIN to dismiss. worthless features for me

my watch buzzes every 1 minute leading up to every calendar entry because of the way your notifications work.. no other app does this. either fix it or give us an option to not have the notification update every minute

notifications on Android really need to be improved.
As for now I get one notification 15min before meeting. If I remove it, I get a new one each 1 minute until meeting starts. Then same thing with a notification for "meeting has started". And the same for "meeting had ended". Really annoying and if my work didn't require outlook, the app would have been deleted long time ago. (rest of the app is super)
1) option for which of the three notifications to receive (I only want reminder before meeting eg)
2) stop updating the notification every one minute... I think you wrote on internet somewhere it's due to how android works. That means you should adapt your code for how Android works.

android wearable trigger a new notification every time outlook updates the minutes remaining before a meeting. this is really annoying when you are not in a position to clear the notification , like driving.

I like outlook; however, I never see any notifications of new mail. i would like to see this both on the outlook icon and the notification bar.
please sort this, as I have tried to get it to work and it does not. other applications notify me.
If this is not sorted, then I will have to return to using the email application which is built into my phone.

When I receive a new email there's no notification in the top bar.
