Android outlook expand/collapse folders
Once you expand folders in Android app there is no way to collapse them
The only way to collapse is to close and reopen the app.
basic basic principle if we are to manage business email in a app. this is a given, i now need to scroll for to long it defeats the purpose of efficacy. other app do it outlook does it, but not its app. why ?
I have a lot of folders and at times I need to navigate through them to find relevant information. When I view folders in the Android App, all folders are expanded by default and this creates frustration in that I have a lot to scroll through to get my messages. I would much prefer an option to collapse all folders by default
Current status of folders/sub folders, as a list with no option to work/search into them, it's not useful at all. Especially when you have plenty of folders you spend additional time, just to drop down the whole list. One tip could be to use similar to pc version, where you could expand-concentrate each folder, by obe touch, therefore foldersanagement can become more efficient in mobile versions

OMG why has this not been fixed yet? I'm extremely organized and handle a ton which means I have hundreds of folder/subfolder arrangements in my system. The fact that you can't expand/collapse at will is mind boggling. Get it together Microsoft.
lots of subfolders open without ability to collapse makes scrolling folder list a drag

I've tried closing and force stopping the app. It still won't work. I'm on android version 10
I have about 50 folders buried within folders. the mobile app of outlook has all of them expanded by default. I should be able to collapse the folders and out look should remember that certain folders are collapsed. just like the desktop and web app.

I thought this would be a no brainer. I have 100+ folders and it's very time consuming to use the app to find emails if you can't collapse folders.
Can you give us the option to collapse all folders in our inbox like one can do in Outlook on a pc, laptop or tablet. Always having it expanded makes it hard when one has an extensive folder structure for organizational reasons.
Massive inconvenience not being able to collapse the folders,
Closing the App and reopening doesn't do anything for me so if I had to file emails away on the app into the correct folders, it would quickly become unfeasible.
I hope that Microsoft do something to fix this issue at some point soon...
as it appears it is not possible to collapse folders I will remove the app. this is useless. good thing I found out immediately during the trial

sub folders in inbox MUST be able to collapse

Right now, if I know I will need access to an email on my mobile device, I have to leave it in the inbox. It is insane that such a useful organizational tool would be made essentially useless. The single most irritating thing about the mobile version, without question.
please make outlook folders collapsible on outlook app. It is simply not useful!

Can Outlook expand and collapse folders now? What would be a reason for me to move back from Samsung mail, one of the few email apps that can actually do this, to Outlook.
Acabei de sugerir o mesmo, vejo aqui que é questão que tem anos???? Muito mau!!!!

This is an obvious and basic feature.. It's a motive for people who have all organized in desktop outlook do not use outlook app because it's impossible to use it like this
so I see people have been asking for this most basic of features for many years. this is absolutely critical for a work email account. smh.
In menu, folder must be collapsed or open like i want
