I can barely tell the difference when i see a read email versus an unread email. The font size/style/type is too similar, and this is quite a crucial distinguishment for the user experience.

keep the whole subject line in bold for the unread emails instead of only time

The unread and read mails both appear identical, you could give a total different accent or make it distinguished! I'm using in ios and android.

Lot of people like to keep emails unread if they are yet to action on them. But what Outlook does once you tap on email chain is, it not just marks the top email as read but the entire email chain as read. Also when you make it as unread, it unreads all the emails in that chain and not just the top email. So it creates lot of manual work to clean up the inbox again on the laptop Outlook. is there a way to simplify this, good email usability I like what ioS default email box has, every easy usability and easy read and unread ability.

It seems like the last update changed the font or boldness to unread emails. Either make the font bolder or provide an option to highlight unread emails somehow without having to filter them.

Right now it's too hard to tell at a glance which emails I've read and which I haven't. so we need a way to tell this more easily without having to reread every subject line.

When you setup widget on desktop (home screen) it doesn't bold unread messages.

On Android when you select an unread message, the top bar allows you to set message read while the in email option says to set it as read.

Keep in mind that average people user average devices don't have such sharp vision like designers using high end screens.

Just bold white titles of unread emails don't stand out well against read items. Titles of unread emails should be bold and in the accent color.

As dark theme is now arrived, there should be some customization needed to change the color/back color of unread and read mails. Write now differentiating bold white text for unread and normal white text for read mail is getting difficult for eyes.
