Outlook contacts sync is based on settings>accounts>Outlook>sync and one button is given in Outlook App settings for sync of contacts to be enabled. this is a very unstable functionality. Observed every time my phone is discharged and switched on back after recharging this sync button is switched off. Due to this have to constantly keep checking it back and make this button to sync position every time my phone recovers from a battery drain.
This features is very stable on my iOS phone.
Please make this feature to sync contacts at office level and make it stable in Android.
Office 365 contacts should be synced with mobile phone contacts as this happens already in android phones but not in ios, its a great feature
It is really a shame that you don’t have basic options like making signature and syncing contacts. This app is like from 1990’s.
When Outlook mobile or Android syncs contacts back to my Microsoft Exchange Server, the formatting of the body of many contacts become messed up. I don't need to edit my contacts on my Android phone, I just want a copy of all my contacts there. If you offered a one-way sync to only pull updates down to my phone but not push them back to the server, that would allow me to safely have all of my contacts to my phone and use them.

Contacts sync button doesn't work properly. Sometimes after app update few contacts goes missing. When I turn off and on sync contacts, it should force resync all contacts from Outlook to my Android. But it doesn't. Still those contacts are missing.

contacts synchronise with android
why can't contacts be synchronized both ways instead of just downloaded read only on a mobile device? really? we have always had two way sync before... why are we taking steps backwards?

sync with Google contacts
I'd like to set the contacts through the app and also the features to add pictures to them. But while this doesn't happen, you could, at least, let the app sync the people pictures from Windows 10, because it lets us add and remove pictures at ease.
Disabling contact sync as you describe it does not work.
Every time I disable it, the app enables it again and syncs.

There should be way to edit contacts from the phone to be productive on the move. I am surprised why we still don't have it with this app.

It appears that this was implemented as read only on the OS. It should be read/write and sync contact changes in say the Phone app back to the app and thus your exchange account too. Otherwise it really blocks you from the OS and makes an unnatural user interaction.
Outlook now syncs contacts with phone, but it is not a complete implementation. it is one-way sync and contact photo (profile picture) is not syncing.
As the contacts sync is not working on my phone, I can't see in the right way pics and all different numbers from my outlook contacts. I can't even add info to them... Please let us add and change Info's to our contacts then sync it back to outlook !
Since upgraded to Windows 10 I have not been able to access my contacts. This is very important to me. Where can I find them?
