There are many people that do not like white as the background for everyt thing. Having extreme light sensitivity, the white is horrible. The desktop version of Outlook has a Dark theme option.

Cleaner UI, remove unecessary headers (like "Inbox") that take up room and a less bulky font (lighter bold weights, etc.).

Would seem silly that in this age we would have to ask for this. Customizing ui is standard on every other mail app.
