mass deletes on email
Thank you for using Outlook Mobile and sharing your ideas with us. We really appreciate your support.
It is currently already possible to select multiple emails at once. To do so, long press on an email until a checkmark appears at the left of it. Once you’ve selected multiple emails, you’ll then be able to perform bulk actions on them, like deleting, marking as read, archiving… A “Select All” option will also appear in the top right corner.
Having trouble finding the feature? Let our in app support team know by going to settings > help & feedback > contact support. We’re here to help.
Thank you again for your support, we look forward to hearing more of your ideas very soon.
All the best
The Outlook Mobile Team

A way to delete many emails at once. I quit using it due to this. I'm sure I have 5000 +by now

To remove all messages from one sender, search with the email, tap and hold any result and the tap select all from the three point menu that appears into the upper right corner.

Tap and hold to select one and then select more by tapping. Select all is available in the three point menu (appears after one message is selected). Swipe actions can be changed in the settings and delete is an options.

I love the "sweep" function in the website version so I can delete all emails from a particular sender; I wish it was available for the app. I also second the idea we should have a "delete all emails [received/sent] before [date]" function in the app.

I just submitted the same thing. I have 5000 emails from over the years that need deleted. Its insane that there isn't a way to clean everything out from, in my case December 2017 and prior. I can't imagine Gmail wants all those around taking up space and I'm not doing it one by one.
