swipe left or right to delete, not archive

Admin, you are absolutely wrong like the others have said. We want to delete from the Notification area.
I'm with Steven: I'm not sure why the swipe functionality you set in 'settings' doesn't just get applied on your notifications...
Steve Mannina commented
There's no option to swipe, delete And mark as read. So this feature is not complete.

hey Admin, this feature is not completed, you're misunderstanding. the request is to be able to delete emails from the notification drawer. currently the only options are "reply" and "archive"
Coco Seitz commented
how about blocking?

The trash icon is so easy to hit. I could be clicking through my email and EASILY send an email to the Deleted folder.
This is wrong as the op noted. Deleting from notification is crucial and must other email apps have this
David Lam commented
This is not what's being suggested - in the notifications view, the only available buttons are "Archive" and "Reply" - despite the action of Delete being used as a swipe action. Maybe this should be addressed as a bug instead?

Saying this is done isn't correct. It isn't done. Option doesn't exist.
when trying to erase messages from the trash they are coming back ones or twice before they can be erase for good.
