You can currently customize the Swipe feature so that it matches your needs. Head to the Settings > Swipe Options to do so. There, you’ll be able to choose which actions you want the Swipe feature to perform.

this already works - don't know in English, but in German it's like "quick actions" --> choose delete for right or left swipe

You can. Either hard press down and it gives you the option or swipe it away.

I would like to delete as many emails as I can at once , that is why I'm thinking about using yahoo instead I'm being bombarded with emails & I am sick of opening all emails before I can delete them...!!!
