move the app to SD cards. the app takes up so much memory that I can't download new apps or update my phone.
large app takes up a lot of space.
It's 2019. Still no option at all to influence how much storage Outlook uses?
No option to select which folders to synchronize?
No option to select the number of days to synchronize?
No option to store data on the sd card?
How is it possible that such basic functionality cannot be implemented? Get to work MS!

In other apps, I can go to Settings and select where I want data stored. I would like to use the additional storage to save space on my phone.

My devices internal memory is almost full. With frequent Outlook updates, it makes it impossible to install updates.

It is nice to load incoming mails to external memory (sd card). Because it takes up to 1GB of memory for 1 mail account. There will be 10 GB space for 10 mail accounts. With the update, both the application's storage location can be set as an SD card, and it is also good that we choose where we want to register the mail accounts. It will be very useful for people.
App is taking too much storage. Put mail on sdcard

I want to be able to store the app on my external memory card. I can see that you already have a post for adjustment for the email, but I can't find that option anywhere on my android.

Outlook app as well as ALL Microsoft mobile apps, being larger in size, should be able configure default storage to a phone's SD card. The communication layer processes that require a more direct access to the onboard mobile can be smaller companion function apps with a relative link to the primary app regardless to it being located on the SD card.
Example: Facebook mobile app.

Somebody commented that because Outlook does not allow moving storage to SD Card, he will swich to G-Mail. I have just checked, Gmail does also not allow it. In fact there seems to be no E-Mail application at all which allows to storage e-mails on SD card? I would immediately move my 7 accounts to that app, as I have completely outrun the memory on my phone, but I have CD with 64G available, and guess what - Most of the Apps do not want to use SD card. Even if you move them there, in the night they update and on morning you will find your telephone non-responsible and outrun of space, becausue all apps install upon update themselves to phone memory again! Only way around it is to prohibit all updates!
This is a important feature should be add

la app no si può spostare sulla SD, questo mi crea problemi di spazio e prestazioni sul telefono
Allow user to move data to SDcard. This will keep tablet or phone from wasting storage on mail.

For both the app itself and email data too.
