allow people to create new folders in the app!
I want to be able to organise my emails but the app doesn't let you create new folders which is ridiculous.
Thank you for using Outlook Mobile and we are so glad you have contacted us!
There currently is a way to add a folder. If you go into the settings > Tap on your account > Advanced settings > System folders > You will then see a plus sign in the top right. You can add a folder from there.
If you are not seeing this feature please contact us through the help section of the app. (In settings). We would be more than happy to assist you.
Thank you again for your support, we look forward to hearing more of your ideas very soon.
All the best The Outlook Mobile Team
PS: Please use the Help Section of the app for any questions, we are not able to see replies to this address.

How do you create a new file folder?

It would help if we had the ability to create folders within the Focused/Other tabs, and archive emails there, instead moving them in the Archives tab.

I have the Outlook App on Android and I was previously able to create a new folder on the App and sync with Outlook on Laptop. Over the last few months this function on the Outlook App no longer works. The facility is still there. I am bewildered as to why and as per the previous comments seem not to be able to get a straight answer from Microsoft.

This does not work in the android app! Thanks for moving it to a closed thread without even reading what was written. Just in case you missed it "Allow Folder creating in Android App". It is the same thing that all the other people wrote about.
Please move my comment out of this section and back to a valid area.

I want to be able to create a new folder and/or subfolder while in the app. Currently can move existing email to already created folders but cannot make a new one, ever though the app gives me the option to name a new folder, but not create it. Basically it let's me make a name but then does nothing, so it's a waste of time.

Using my laptop I'm able to create folders to categorise my emails. I'm unable to do so on phone function
This feature creates a folder on the main account. This does not allow you to select the location of the “New Folder” to be created.
Is there a way to do this on the “Outlook Mobile App” for iOS?
Example: I would like to create a sub folder under a folder called “Cabinet”.

I am always making folders for my mail as it is received for later viewing and ease of finding it, I cannot currently figure out how to do that within the app, I in turn have to login to my main computer, or go into desktop mode to do that.

The answer provided here is dead wrong for iOS version. This is a critical feature that’s currently unavailable. MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!!
Otherwise love the mobile app.

Why can't I create a new folder with the app? I have to get to a computer to do so!
I want to be able to add a folder to All Accounts. I have found where it lets you add a folder to an individual account. As I run several accounts on Outlook I end up with multiple folders in each of the accounts instead of one folder in All Accounts. How do I add a folder to "All Accounts"
creat folders on app version
