update the button icons to show purpose
two left arrows and three right?
I can't believe that this app was developed by the same company which gave us the windows phone metro interface. literally I feel like one of those old people who dare not use more than the basic 4 buttons on their DvD player, for the first time in my life.
For the sake of Equality and Diversity, I'm surprised no-one has sued you yet.
You need to upgrade all of the buttons to indicate what they do. You seem to have thrown the app together with no thought at all. swipe left and right also has unknown functions. The previous app was great to use, and in comparison this app is totally unusable without studying and remembering all of the hidden and unknown functions. so I might aswell just log in via Outlook.com in a Web browser. well I have no choice but to open a Web browser for anything more than viewing email, as there's no telling what the other buttons do. so until you design some clearly labelled and understandable functions, this app is nothing more than an email viewer.
The biggest thing that development teams do wrong, is change things that were better as they were. If you have nothing to do because you made something good like the previous Outlook app, then work on something else. don't make pizz poor development choices then force them onto us, just so that you "did some work, to keep your job" when the job was finished and the app just needed basic staff and maintenance. you spent time and money on updating this app and now it really does need updating... way to go to keep your job guy's.
fix this problem or I will start advising all of my customers (technician) to use Gmail.
unmarked functions and buttons have no amount of readability, accessibility, usability, equality or diversity. nobody cares about the new design style, we just want a usable app to manage our emails on our android while away from our windows pc.

It's a shame that I constantly have to guess what an icon does. Please, add labels below icons, put the app together, it's a mess.

some icons don't represent the actual nature of the date/appointment. i.e. the "balloon" icon is totally incompatible with scheduled business meetings, thus making the app very unprofessional.

there are some icons that i dont know what is the functions of them. I pressed a top icon and a important email disapeared and I dont know where is it. So it would be easier if when we make a long press on a icon, a small text popup appears with the descriptoon of the functionality of the icon

I can't tell which icon does what. you have arrows that don't say what they do, you have swipe functions and no way to know about those either. put text on the icons

some of your icons for buttons are very cryptic some of us don't understand them it would be nice to have the option to change them two words instead of icons that could make this program a bit more usable for those of us who prefer words instead of symbols thank you
