show attachments in the calendar, not just in the invite.
We have added the ability to view attachments connected to your calendar events.
We currently support syncing calendar invite attachments from the desktop platform for all account types. The document types that will auto sync to your mobile device upon accepting the invite are Word, Excel, Powerpoint, PDF, and EML.
Having trouble with these features? Let our in- app support team know by going to settings> help & feedback > contact support. We are here to help!
Thank you again for your support, we look forward to hearing more of your ideas very soon.
All the best

Hi. When I send a calendar invite with an attachment, the respondents can't accept or decline the meeting and cant see the attachment. If there is no attachment the calendar invite works as normal.
All respondents are using mobile devices, and I have a gmail account, but use outlook. Thanks

I cannot see attachments in Outlook for Android. Is this down to the fact that we are using Exchange 2010?
so... I have v2.2.118, but I still cannot view calendar attachments. Connected to Exchange 2013. Is this only available via Exchange 2016?

I am unable to view attachments that are received on calendar invites that have been accepted. We should be able to view and open attachments directly from the calendar event details page.

I often get attachments that are relevant to a meeting as part of the meeting invite which I can see in desktop Outlook but not in the mobile app.

This is such an obvious feature I didn't know it was not available until we started looking at it today.

This is truly a base need. Was astounded it is not available to view an attachment to a meeting on my calendar. I figured it had to just be me but it isn't.
Jeff West commented
is this feature coming soon? Open attachments in a meeting invitation?
We need this feature. We are rolling out the Outlook Mobile App for both Android and iOS as part of our Intune Project as that is the only way we can secure our corporate e-mail using Intune's Application Protection Policies. Not having something that our users have in the native Mail apps would be a bad user experience problem.
If I attach documents to my calendar events I should be able to access them there from the Outlook app calendar too.

So was hoping you will add the ability to view attachments assigned to a calendar invite in the calendar tab like you can with the desktop version of Outlook or the OWA.

How is it possible that this has been requested back in 2015 and now we're in the 2018!?! I hate that my trusted Nokia Windows Phone is not supported any more in our company. Working used to be so much less stressful.

It is very needed! How can we use Android for business if you cannot have attachments on calendar? I schedule interviews and need to be able to attach the resumes to the interview appointments.
