Only Microsoft could be this useless- a notification that doesn't notify you of what's going on

The current notification text essentially makes the notification worthless because I still have to unlock to find out how to resolve the notification (where to go). I use my smart watch and phone lock screen to tell me at a glance where I should head to the next meeting.
Outlook is actively hindering my productivity in this regard, as others have mentioned, nearly all other calendar apps include location.

literally the only way Touchdown was better than Outlook was showing meeting location on the notification.

It is ridiculous how obvious this is and yet it has not been implemented!
I don't want to have to unlock the phone just to see the location of my next meeting!!
All other apps do this, including Google Calendar, Nine, Boxer, etc.
I'm switching. -

It's very important for the notification to include meeting as it would have to see in watch as well without going to the meeting invite

So sad to see this great suggestion buried under ones that simply say "Put it back to the old way!" I have never seen another calendar app notification show the "x minutes from now" instead of the location of an appointment.
Time to the appointment is redundant anyway, when the location would be additional information the notification does not currently include.
Unfortunately, given this has been "under review" since 2016, I have little hope for this to be fixed. -

Yes yes yes! I have meetings all over the building and I have to unlock my phone and open the Outlook app to view the calendar or swipe over to my home page screen where I have the widget pinned. I need the location shown on the notification itself.

It doesn't show the location the invite has. Would be good to be able to see that in the notification, like where to go.

This feature would make the app so much better. Now when I get notifications for a meeting I have to open the item to see the location (room name) where if it was in the notification I would see it immediately and then dismiss the notification without having to open the item

I need an extra reflector but its not urgent, it can wait till I go there for something else, only once there for the other thing, I will have forgotten that I needed a reflector. Home again, I remember... If only I could register a location alert in my calender, next time I m at that place, my phone reminds me to buy a reflector... Or to put it as Einstein: space and time are one, a certain time is a location in universe.

Meeting reminders don't show the meeting location - it just unhelpfully states that the meeting has already started. I shouldn't have to unlock my device to see where a meeting is
