Mark as Junk and A "Not Junk" function to add a sender to your safe list.
I need to be able to browse my junk folder and decide what mail is junk and what I want to go to my inbox in the future. There should be a "Not Junk" or "Add to Safe List" function.

when you receive email either in in the 8nbox or in spam have a button to say yes I want this to be in my inbox or put in spam. that way you can keep your emails you need out of spam and the ones you don't want in spam.

ik word er gek van dat ik iedere dag belangrijke mail uit mijn spam moet halen. ik denk over verandering van email.

I posted an idea here and it got merged here. Outlook notified me about this by E-mail. Except... That E-mail was sitting in my junk folder. So in a beautiful twist of irony, Outlook's own notification E-mail to tell me my idea got merged here was flagged as spam, and I had nothing to do with it. Also can't add Outlook to the safe list from the app. Fantastic...

If there's legitimate E-mails in the spam folder, I can't mark them as safe unless I'm on the PC.

when emails are flagged as spam and received in the spam folder, an option to set them as safe senders to prevent them being sent to spam folder would be nice. having to go into the web version (full version) of outlook to do this is very annoying.

the most common action I am carrying out with this outlook app is to check junk mail and move emails that aren't junk into my inbox. firstly when I move them to my inbox they should remain unread but more importantly if I have chosen to move them then this should make it a safe sender and future emails from that address should no longer go into junk. I get that this may not be a feature that suits everyone so make it an option in the settings so people can choose.

blacklist email addresses as spam not just individual emails.

other email clients allow you to mark a sender as non spam with ease, I don't see that feature

Overzealous spam. Stop sending contacts to spam! if an email is 'not junk' in 99.9% cases the sender is also genuine. auto safe sender

Mark as not junk on app so stops FUTURE emails from that sender being sent to junk. I know you can move messages to inbox or other folders but that is not sufficient to stop future messages being caught. This feature exists on the website so would be good on the app!

It has been under review for the past 3 years! So when will this happen?

It takes too long to move junk from spam folder to inbox in the app. The "this is not junk" option needs to be reinstated.

you have it on the other platforms, why would you not just have it as standard across them all
