Mark as Junk and A "Not Junk" function to add a sender to your safe list.
I need to be able to browse my junk folder and decide what mail is junk and what I want to go to my inbox in the future. There should be a "Not Junk" or "Add to Safe List" function.

definitely. Just a link in the options for each email address that says "Never put this address's mail in junk folder" or something like that would be a massive improvement

Important emails are going to junk email box. There should be an option that emails should be going to junk box only when marked by user.

To enter one by one is time consuming. This would make Junk less, Outlook a better 'helper.' and more efficient.

when I move an item to junk, it doesn't mark itself as read. I don't want to read anything I know is Junk that landed in my normal inbox, and I want to distinguish it from messages which went direct to my Spam.

like before when you click an email as not spam it should add the email address to the safe sender list or ask if you want to.

I like to play the lottery I subscribed to daily numbers to be sent to my inbox. I don't play every day and the days I don't play I delete my emails but after so many deletes Outlook thinks it should be junk mail. please let me decide what's junk and what's not I hate how it thinks for me.

learn to recognize email that I move from junk to inbox, and then stop classifying that sender as junk.

If I mark spam as ok send it back to where it was intended to go. Very often emails for my hotmail.com address get sent to spam and when I correct this they get sent to my inbox with all my outlook.com emails. Send them to my hotmail folder where they should be.

When an email is flagged as junk or a phising skeem, remember the content of the email and use that a the meta data to flag that same junk in the future. To avoid misclassification, if a user flags a junk detected email as safe, add that email address to their safe senders list. I am tired of flagging the same content over and over again as junk or phishing attempts...

there is no way to add an email address to the safe sender's list through the app, so email are constantly flagged as spam

I've actually lost work because Hotmail filters clearly real emails while still allowing clearly fake iTunes emails through. It's a useless filter. I'd rather have no junk filter at all.

adding senders to safe list by pushing the "not spam" button so you don't have to do it every time you get mail from the same sender

when you receive email either in in the 8nbox or in spam have a button to say yes I want this to be in my inbox or put in spam. that way you can keep your emails you need out of spam and the ones you don't want in spam.
