Please create a sync setting that forces Contacts/People to only sync one-way. In other words, I only want data to push from the server to my Android device, and not vice-versa.

I want to add contacts to my outlook account without sync with my cellphone. I manage a lot of emails accs and it would be a mess with all contacts in my whatsapp contacts list.

Contacts on Android are frankly rubbish. Outlook app should provide full support for Exchange 365/Outlook.com contact creation and editing of all details. Should also provide similar functions to the Windows 10 People app to control the merging of contacts from multiple sources incl. Facebook. LinkedIn, Skype, Xbox Live, etc.

Contacted in-app support 11 times. 1 out of 11 times a person responded. They sent me a copy-and-paste message telling me to enable contact sync (duh!) and never provided any other input. This team ignores customers and doesn't do their job

Seems Outlook for Android will sync contacts with phone contacts but not the other way around.
If backing up to Google means multiple copies of contacts in cloud.
I prefer to backup via dingle service provider - MicroSoft.
A far better approach to GDPR.

This would be the best mail client if only it supported this one feature. As it stands I cannot use this by itself. I need to use the built in Samsung mail client to sync my contacts.

We need the ability to edit a synchronized contact from exchange and have the changes sync back to the exchange server.

I just want the contacts on my pc version of outlook to sync with my phone contacts. Syncing from phone to pc version would be a bonus but of much less importance.

I want to be able to see my work contacts and calendar on my personal devices, but I don't want to see the email as I don't want to always be plugged in. If I add the work account, then I can only view one inbox at a time to about seeing work email, as the all inbox view would include work and I can't exclude it.

I use Outlook on PCs with my data stored on Exchange as part of Office 365 Business Premium. In Outlook on my PCs, I have multiple contact folders such as Vendors, Customers, Friends, Family, etc. I have hundreds and thousands of contacts in each of those folders, so I like to keep those contacts separated into each folder to make them more manageable. However, Outlook on Android only syncs contacts with the default Outlook folder called "Contacts." However, that's only a small percentage of all of my contacts. I need my Android device to sync with all of my other contacts folders too. Please allow me to select all of the contact folders that I want my Android device to sync with. Please don't limit me to only sync with the default contacts folder called "Contacts."

Need for syncing additional contact list on 365 to device so that separate company's customers contacts can be synced on device additionally to personal contacts which is very useful when travelling for work.

What good is an app that can read exchange server contacts but cannot update or add them? I actually lost a few contacts details before I realized this didn't have the ability to sync contact changes back to the server.

this is so necessary that I cannot believe it has been overlooked for this long. this one feature prevents this from being my go to e-mail and contacts app.
