Outlook for Android

            Hey There!

            We recently added the ability to have a badge count of all your unread conversations right on the app icon. To enable/disable this feature please go to the app settings> scroll down to badge count> from here you can choose to show a badge count for all emails, focused only, or turn it off completely.

            This feature is currently available for Samsung, Sony, and LG devices as well as for users running the Microsoft Launcher on their Android device.

              You can currently choose between having your emails listed separately as received or grouped into threads. To change how your mail is displayed please go to Settings>Scroll down to “Organize mail by thread” and tap on the toggle switch to turn it off/on based on your preference.

                  It is currently already possible to to turn on/off the Focused Inbox in the Android app, to do so, open the outlook app on your mobile device > Tap on the gear icon on the upper right corner> scroll down to the focused inbox option and
                  tap the toggle switch to turn it off.

                  If you are needing to turn off the Focused inbox option on the Outlook.com website you can do so by logging into the desktop portal then:
                  1. Go to settings in the top right corner of your screen. On the next screen, look in the left panel.
                  2.Scroll down until you see a heading titled Layout.
                  3.Listed under layout you should see an option for Focused Inbox.

                    If you’re not enjoying the Focused Inbox feature, you can turn it off in your settings. By switching the option off within your settings, the toggle option on the top of your inbox will disappear and all your mails will appear chronologically across your inbox.                     • Do not disturb when off work (inverse of the current, when at work)

                      I want to not be disturbed when off work, i.e at home. Weekends are currently possible, but I want evenings as well. Just like the inverse of 'at work' do not disturb.
                      The reason being: I don't carry my laptop to every meeting, but would like notifications when I get an email or have an upcoming meeting

                        You can now temporarily turn off your email notifications using the new Do not Disturb feature of the app. To do so simply tap on the 3 horizontal lines on the top left corner> Next tap on the bell icon next to the email address displayed or go to the “All Accounts” tab to set up do not disturb for all accounts connected to the app > Next choose the timed or scheduled option that best suits your needs.

                        • enable notifications from emails in subfolder in inbox

                          I have set an rule for directing emails with specific subject to subfolder in email to filter them form other cluster. However, I don't get notifications for emails which go directly into these subfolder. I have missed a couple of important emails due to lack of notifications. so adding/enabling notifications will help keep track of incoming mails.

                                We have added the ability to reply, forward and delete individual emails within a thread. To do so scroll to email you are wanting to perform one of these actions on>tap on the 3 vertical dots on the upper right corner under the email date> you will then see a pop-up box with the actions available to perform for that email.

                                  It is currently already possible to select multiple emails at once. To do so, long press on an email until a checkmark appears at the left of it. Once you’ve selected multiple emails, you’ll then be able to perform bulk actions on them, like deleting, marking as read, archiving… A “Select All” option will also appear in the top right corner.

                                      Sign out of all devices. I had unusual activity on my account and had to change my password but I'm worried a hacker may still be logged in and I want to kick out all log ins and confirm only specific devices using my 2 factor authentication.

                                      • notification sounds

                                        only notify once audibly for all messages notgir each one separately. I get multiply notification sounds when multiple emails come through
