Dark theme is now fully rolled out on Outlook version 4.0 and higher! You can turn on Dark Theme by going to App Settings under Preferences. You will need to restart your app in order to see the setting. Thank you for your feedback and for voting on this feature.

Mark as spam
Option to report spam/phishing emails
17,914 votesYou can now move emails to any folder you wish including the Spam folder, by simply choosing the “more options” icon within the message (3 dots) > tap move> choose the folder you would like to move the email to. You can also move multiple emails by selecting them from the inbox view, tap the 3 dot icon > tap move then choose the folder you would like to move to. For outlook.com accounts only, sending items to spam will be picked up as a signal by our reporting team and will lead to the sender being blocked. Access to Junk mail needed
it's important to have the junk mail folder

To access folders other than your inbox simply tap on the 3 horizontal lines on the top left corner of the app> Tap on the specific email account your wanting to check> Choose “See All Folders”. This will give you access to not only your junk folder but also any folder you have created on the desktop portion of your account.

Thank you for using Outlook Mobile and sharing your ideas with us. We really appreciate your support.
It is currently possible to set an out of office message in the app for Exchange and Office 365 account.
To setup out of the office replies, tap settings > tap your Office365 or Exchange account > tap Automatic Replies > toggle the switch on.
You can choose:
1.) Reply to everyone
2.) Reply only to my organization
You can also set up a different messages for your organization and external senders.
Tap done once you have set up your automatic reply.

Favorite Folder
Folders that I need regularly should be in the main list not in the sublist.

You can now have your important folders listed at the top of your folder tree by marking them as favorites in the app.
To do so tap on the 3 horizontal lines on the top left of the app screen> choose the email account you want to work with> tap on the pencil icon next to the word folders at the top of your side bar> scroll through your list of folders and tap on the star icon on the left hand side of each folder you would like marked as a favorite then simply tap on the check mark on the top right corner when done.

Hey, Everyone!
Thank you all for your feedback! It is currently possible to turn the Focused feature on and off as well as adjust what is displayed in each inbox.
To disable your focused inbox go to your app settings> scroll down to Focused Inbox and tap on the toggle switch to turn it off. If you choose to re-enable this feature you will simply use these same steps.
To move items from focused inbox to the other and vice versa simply tap and hold on the email listed > Tap on the 3 vertical dots on the top right corner of the screen > choose the appropriate action depending on which inbox you are currently working with> you will then receive a pop up asking you to move only this message or this message and all future messages> choose your preferred action then tap move.

Hello!
We have added the ability to choose which day your calendar week starts on. To do so tap on the 3 horizontal lines on the top left of the screen> tap on the cogwheel at the bottom of the pop out side panel to go to settings> scroll down and select week start.

tap to delete drafts
Currently you have to enter each draft message, exit then choose discard in order to delete drafts! Make it like any other folder where you can choose the messages you want to delete then delete them all at once.

Thank you all for your patience and feedback with this feature. It is now possible to quickly delete items from your drafts folder.
To do so you can tap and hold on the draft you want to remove> once the check mark pops up on the left side tap on the trash icon> Note it will ask you to permanently delete the draft so it will not be moved to your trash bin.
You can also empty the entire draft folder by holding down on any item on the list> once the check mark pops up tap on the 3 vertical dots on the top right of the screen> Tap select all > Tap on the trash icon.

Sent items sync between Outlook Desktop client and Outlook mobile.
The Sent Items, Calendars are not in sync between outlook desktop and mobile client for android. this is a very big need.

A Do Not Disturb feature for "after hours"
A Do Not Disturb feature for "after hours" would be great. if you could allow custom times, e.g. 8pm - 6am, that would be even better.

You can now temporarily turn off your email notifications using the new Do not Disturb feature of the app. To do so simply tap on the 3 horizontal lines on the top left corner> Next tap on the bell icon next to the email address displayed or go to the “All Accounts” tab to set up do not disturb for all accounts connected to the app > Next choose the timed or scheduled option that best suits your needs.

this app looks more like an webapp instead if mobile app while using it.
this interface or design wiuld be good for windows mobile but not for android n iOS.

when i choose a file it won't give me a download option or save option

do not disturb
Hi there, do not disturb should be available by customizing the time and day for any selection. like an alarm clock. So I can choose weekdays after 5 pm to next day 8 am. thanks

Do not disturb when off work (inverse of the current, when at work)
I want to not be disturbed when off work, i.e at home. Weekends are currently possible, but I want evenings as well. Just like the inverse of 'at work' do not disturb.
