    Hey There!

We recently added the ability to have a badge count of all your unread conversations right on the app icon. To enable/disable this feature please go to the app settings> scroll down to badge count> from here you can choose to show a badge count for all emails, focused only, or turn it off completely.

This feature is currently available for Samsung, Sony, and LG devices as well as for users running the Microsoft Launcher on their Android device.

Having trouble with these features? Let our in-app support team know by going to settings> help & feedback > contact support. We are here to help!

Thank you again for your support, we look forward to hearing more of your ideas very soon.

Good news! Select All is an option inside of Outlook for Android. To select more than one email, either long press on a message from your inbox, or touch on the circular avatar next to a message and watch it turn into a checkmark. You can select as many emails as you’d like. Then press the 3-dot icon at the top right to perform a bulk operation. If you’d like to select all, just go to the 3-dot icon right after you’ve selected at least one email.

  4. include a junk/spam/phishing button on the app

make it possible and easy to mark mail as junk, spam, and phishing

    Hi there,

Thank you for using Outlook Mobile and sharing your ideas with us. We really appreciate your support.

You can now move emails to any folder you wish including the Spam folder, by simply choosing the “more options” icon within the message (3 dots) > tap move> choose the folder you would like to move the email to. You can also move multiple emails by selecting them from the inbox view, tap the 3 dot icon > tap move then choose the folder you would like to move to. For outlook.com accounts only, sending items to spam will be picked up as a signal by our reporting team and will lead to the sender being blocked. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out at Settings > Help & Feedback > Contact Support.

PS: Please use the Help Section of the app for any questions, we…

  8. Quiet Time

Quiet time on the old version was very helpful, prevented me from having to put my device in either silent or airplane mode manually.

  18. remove the "focus" tab, you are taking extra time from our busy day by making us keep switching back and forth between focus and regular !

please make the focus tab optional its annoying and adds time to checking email. does not load properly on the desktop and it is super annoying having to search two places for emails.

    Hey there!

If you’re not enjoying the Focused Inbox feature, you can turn it off in your settings. By switching the option off within your settings, the toggle option on the top of your inbox will disappear and all your mails will appear chronologically across your inbox. If you have further questions, we have some talented people ready to assist at Settings > Help & Feedback > Contact Support.

Thank you again for your support, we look forward to hearing more of your ideas very soon.

  19. Make "Focused"/"Other" inbox feature optional.

I'm not a big fan of Outlook sorting my email for me and would like an option under settings to revert to pre-focus style inboxing. I can appreciate that others may like this feature, so I think making it optional is the best of both worlds.

    Hi there,

Thank you for using Outlook Mobile and sharing your ideas with us. We really appreciate your support.

It is currently already possible to to turn on/off the Focused Inbox in the Android app, to do so, open the outlook app on your mobile device > Tap on the gear icon on the upper right corner> scroll down to the focused inbox option and
tap the toggle switch to turn it off.

If you are needing to turn off the Focused inbox option on the Outlook.com website you can do so by logging into the desktop portal then:
    1. Go to settings in the top right corner of your screen. On the next screen, look in the left panel.
2.Scroll down until you see a heading titled Layout.
3.Listed under layout you should see an option for Focused Inbox.
After you’ve clicked on Focused Inbox you will be given…

  20. Signature selection

It would be more convenient, when having multiple accounts with a signature programmed for each one, that when writing a new email, the signature changes automatically when selecting another account than the default one in the list.

Currently, even if you change the account, the signature still showing is the one from the default account.
