    Hey!

Thank you all for your patience! The ability to add and edit recurring events is now available for many account types, you can also edit or delete a single event or occurrence out of a series. If your email account supports creating events, you will be given the option to create them from your Outlook calendar on iOS/Android. If you are unsure whether or not your account supports recurring events on mobile platforms please contact your email provider or our in app support team.

    All the best

    Hi Outlook users,

We’re excited to announce that the Outlook on Android application now supports shared calendars for Office365 and Outlook.com users!

If you already have a shared calendar, you’ll need to upgrade it so that it syncs to your mobile phone. It’s simple to do though: just ask the calendar owner to re-share the calendar to you, and then click the Accept button in the Outlook app. After accepting, you’ll be able to see the shared calendar on your mobile phone!

This feature is only available if both the calendar owner & the sharing recipient are hosted in Office365 or Outlook.com. And if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to the in-app support team by going to Settings > Help & Feedback> Contact Support and we’d be happy to help!

  6. Need the option of making/marking calendar entries "private"

I share my work calendar, so there are times I want to add an event, but mark it as private so not everyone can see the details of that appt....just that I am busy during that time frame. This app does not offer this option, but most all others do.

When creating a calendar event you can now choose to keep that event private by scrolling to the bottom of the event creation screen and tapping on the toggle icon next to private.

If you have any trouble with this feature please contact our in app support team from the settings portion of the app.

    Thank you,

  10. add busy/tentative/free/away to calendar

I need to be able to show appts as busy, tentative, away, etc in order to manage multiple requests for meetings. the functionality of this app is so low compared to pre-installed apps and others available online that I'm astonished. I installed this to overcome sync issues with Outlook 365 (another app with loss of funtionality). it took care of that problem and left me with a host of others.

  15. Dial directly from Calendar with passcode.

for any conference call there are conf bridge number and passcode. Other calendar allows dialing all in one button, and recognizes comma and # sign.

    we want that feature.
