  1. The search button shouldn't be in the command bar bar next to Mail and Calendar. It should be visible inline of the email thread.

The search button shouldn't be in the command bar bar next to Mail and Calendar. It should be visible inline of the email thread and disappear/reappear similar to the address bar in Edge on Android. The People icon should be in its place in the command bar.

  3. In the search tab, display only registered contacts and when delete, no longer display and include a button to clear queries

Currently in the search tab there are contacts that have already been deleted and there is no way to clean, the same happens in the online version, every query I make, is registered either in the app or on the website, I would like to have an option that just cleans up

  8. have all my contacts offline available. I don't want to wait when searching and selecting a contact result for it to be opened.

improve search for contacts, opening a search result took way to long. did not open while waiting, stopped and tried to find it another way.

  9. Provide a 'By month' or 'Date Range' search to avoid hundreds of 'Load more' presses which takes forever to go back months.

Desktop Outlook let you effectively sort thousands of emails by either of name/date/Subject etc. 365 does not and my business has important emails that may go back a month, year or eighteen months plus!
With 365 you have to repeatedly hit 'Load More' to go back mere days, let alone months and a years worth of 'Load more' would take forever!
Provide a date range search that has no historic date limit or span and then a 'Sort By' option within that range once its loaded.

  11. Retrieve WeTransfer, OneDrive and other file sharing emails when searching for with:attachment

Sometimes you don't remember the way some files were shared with you, so it's useful that OneDrive, SharePoint, GDdrive, WeTransfer and others are shown in the results. At the end one looks for files, regardless the way they were received

  15. please add the ability to view / tag mails based on different flags / categories (feature available in desktop & web version)

in web & desktop version of outlook, we can tag the mails based on various custom categories and colored flags of our own. it usually helps in searching / identifying the mails easily. it would be nice to have that feature extended to outlook mobile as well.

  17. Allow for multiple Email/item selection after you perform a search in order to move all selected items into another folder.

Currently, after performing a search you can only open or select one Email at a time. It would be very productive to all multiple Emails to be selected for organizing purposes.

  19. Cache emails locally

Enable the storing of emails locally. Search is very slow. Infrequent used folders take ages to download messages. My phone has enough storage to cope with millions of emails. Please give us the option and flexibility. It feels like twenty years ago having to wait for refrech from the server before I can search for something. Oh, and indexing please...thank you 🙏

  20. when searching a select feature should be available!

once you search w a term, there should be a possibility to select several emails under that search, so many elects can be moved/deleted in one go
