There are a few quick and easy way to delete emails from the Outlook app.
1. Delete button in reading view.
Simply tap on the “trash” icon on the upper right corner of the screen to delete the email that’s currently open.
2. Swipe to delete.
Swipe the email to the left. By default, this will archive the email. However, you can customize Swipe Options in the Settings and change the action to Delete.
3. Bulk delete.
This is very useful when you want to delete multiple emails at once. To do this, long press on an email until a checkmark appears at the left of it. Once you’ve selected multiple emails, you’ll then be able to perform the following actions: deleting, marking as read, archiving. A “Select…

What is the point of having a focused inbox if I have a pop up telling me what 'other' emails have arrived? Let me turn that off.
New features are constantly added to the app with no user options to control/disable them. Makes for a really poor user experience.

Bug in App
On my Android I have outlook app which I was using for some time. I changed my password of mailbox on website so obviously mail synch with App stopped. Surprisingly I am still getting notifications of new mails coming to my mailbox. So even if my mails not coming to my App due to change of password, I am still able to see notifications followed by a message to enter a new password.
other GUI issue: When I open app, I get message to reenter the password. This message comes exactly above Settings icon and hence I can't access Setting…1 voteHi there,

add a way to send outgoing auto emails for mobile app too. Ex: away from desk, out of office until, will return at/on....
Add feature on the Outlook Mobile App- Ability to create custom auto-reply email(s) when temporarily out of office like on PC version. Do not disturb is not enough. I want to give instant replys so co-workers/customers know you are not immediately available and when you will return etc. Sending a mass email reply is much more professional then senders not receiving a response, and every or who you choose can be notified. this will prevent forgetting to tell/email someone of your absence too. Thank you kindly.

To enter resend mode under the mails which are not going to the concerned person because of any reason. Error also not shown.
Mail remains lying in outbox without giving any error message or reason and there is no option to resend it also.
It is being done even when email is verified.1 voteHi there,

the black interface is so pathetic on android compared to iOS the lines that demarkate the mail are not even visible in amdroid,
if u see iOS and Android dark mode
the lines that demarkate mails is not even visible. this is so clear and clearly visible in iOS
the unread mails are in white bold and read is unbolded ...it's so difficult to distinguish if it's unread or read as both look similar ...the case is iOS is the unread is in blue
out of office is impossible to make in android

The app needs to take more care of how its present and future features affect its perfomance
Before the outlook app used to be really responsive and quick to open, but now things like opening the app and sending a new email make the app hang a lot, until now I was kind of it happening but now it's happening too often. As updates with more features came, the app was slowly slowing down.

Posts on this forum are not always saved.
I posted comments in the Suggest a Feature (Feedback Forum) for Outlook for Android. This increased the number of comments but would only temporarily display my comment and not save it (with no explanation for why). It was perhaps only with features marked as Completed.
