  4. Allow the Outlook app to use the GAL, as well as Mailbox Contacts, for Caller Identification for work or school accounts

Allow the Outlook app to use the GAL, as well as Mailbox Contacts, for Caller Identification for work or school accounts.
In this scenario, when someone calls me on my cellular and he/she is known in the GAL with the number that is calling, I see the name of the caller and not just the number.

  7. fix contact sync with exchange server so that it since both ways.

Right now exchange contact sync is one way only which is utterly useless. please make it sound from the phone back to exchange.

  8. fix the contact sync on Android

every time I added a new contact it gets overwritten after a few minutes.

  10. Sync contact pic

build-in contact sync to Android native contact app doesn't sync the contact pic. Please add so the pic from Outlook can automatically be sync to the native contact app.

  12. Sync contacts that only have company name

Currently, Outlook contact records that only have a company name (no first/last name) will not sync to Outlook for Android. They used to in Windows Phone Outlook & they do in some current Android email / contact apps. This is a MUST for when you have records for general business contacts, but no one, single person you deal with.

  16. Create a setting to enforce one-way Contacts sync only. This way, Outlook on Android can't mess up Exchange Contacts.

Please create a sync setting that forces Contacts/People to only sync one-way. In other words, I only want data to push from the server to my Android device, and not vice-versa. If I create a brand new Contact on my Android device, then that can sync to the cloud, but lock existing Contacts on my Android device so that I can't edit them.

Why? Well, your Contact sync engine is not reliable yet. In fact, it's screwing up my precious data. This is totally inexcusable. Want a case study? OK, here you go...

I was so excited when you added…

  20. Auto create contact information

Contacts/People are auto created based on email addresses you have received an email from. Most email have extended contact information in the signature. A solution that tries to create contact information (telephone/addresses +++) based on this would be great. There are great Business Card readers that work, so it is pretty viable feature.
A signature often start with the name of the sender, so that would be the cue. A copy of the source data should be included for manual correction.
