  2. Contacts sync

    Some thoughts on contacts:
    (a) add photo sync,
    (b) add contacts edit,
    (c) add search in Active Directory GAL in Android's defauls contacts app (you have one in app itself and it's more powerful, then the one in TypeApp, for example).

  4. Make Contacts search work across Contact folders.

People search only searches the default Contact folder. It does not search across any user-created folders at the same level.

  5. Edit birthday

I am not able to edit the birthday field of a contact. At least I don't see the field.
    Please add this feature.

  6. Synchronize people photos

Outlook doesn't synchronize people photos from personal contacts, which are stored on Exchange server. There are synchronized only pictures of people who are stored in company Active Directory.
Outlook on Windows phone works correctly.

  7. unified contacts.

if you install outlook and connect to e it should expose contacts to the native Android contacts app.. and be searchable from there.
using stock android or Samsung email app on a s8 allows this.

  9. Sync user defined contact folders

Only the default contact folder syncs. What about all of my other contact folders?

  10. Allow us to sync other contacts folders and sub-folders from Outlook/Exchange, not just the default folder named "Contacts"

I use Outlook on PCs with my data stored on Exchange as part of Office 365 Business Premium. In Outlook on my PCs, I have multiple contact folders such as Vendors, Customers, Friends, Family, etc. I have hundreds and thousands of contacts in each of those folders, so I like to keep those contacts separated into different folders to make them more manageable. Outlook on Android only syncs contacts with the default Outlook folder called “Contacts.” However, that is only a small percentage of all of my contacts in Exchange. I need my Android device to sync with all of…

  12. Add outlook contacts to Android version of outlook.

the Android version of Outlook does not have the contacts icon or functionality built-in 2 the Android version of Outlook. this would make things much easier instead of having to go to email and picking the Outlook contacts each time. thank you

  13. To have "contact tab in Outlook app" for managing, calling and syncing contacts.

    • Inside tab can add, remove, edit, call, email with syncing to account.

    • Inside tab can sort by as full name, nickname, birthday, etc.

  15. Add Outlook People features to contacts tab!

I've tried all contacts app for Android at PlayStore and all they doesn't read all form fields which Outlook People provides.
I really would like an Outlook People Contacts app for Android like have on Lumia but a Outlook People inside Outlook Contacts tab providing all features of the Outlook People Web App for managing Windows/Outlook contacts will be greatest!
This is what every Outlook user wants!

  17. iCloud contacts sync to Android contacts

At the moment Android doesn't support direct syncing of iCloud contacts to Android contacts. Outlook app does show the iCloud contacts of linked iCloud account in people tab. However, it doesn't get sync to Android contacts app. I have to use third party app like iCloud contacts sync for this purpose. This feature of implemented will provide seamless integration of people tab and Android contacts.
    thanks.

  19. Global Address List (GAL) lookup. I have a meeting with someone and I can't find their office number. I can only send an email to them.

From an email or appointment, I can open a pretty sparse contact card. It has past communications and the ability to send another email, but that's it. Where are all the details for the sender/recipient from the Global Address List (GAL)?

  20. Allow the Outlook app to use the GAL, as well as Mailbox Contacts, for Caller Identification for work or school accounts

Allow the Outlook app to use the GAL, as well as Mailbox Contacts, for Caller Identification for work or school accounts.
In this scenario, when someone calls me on my cellular and he/she is known in the GAL with the number that is calling, I see the name of the caller and not just the number.
