  1. Make the insert as text option available when attaching a file

When attaching a file, for example an HTML file, there should be a drop down option like there is on a PC, which allows you to insert the file as text into the body of the email. This will allow HTML emails to be sent from outlook without formatting being messed up and without using a third party email service.

  3. Sign Druide Antidote connector for Outlook for Mac

We use a 3rd party spelling checker supplied by Druide Informatique with Outlook for Mac called Antidote. Since we moved to macOS 10.14 Mojave, this spelling checker does not work with Outlook. It does work however for Word among other Microsoft applications. Our understanding is that with Mojave, Apple introduced security features that prevent communication between Outlook and Antidote. We see two options: (1) Microsoft “signs” the Antidote connector for Outlook, or (b) Microsoft publishes a new API to be consumed by third parties such as Druide. Would Microsoft consider these options?

  4. Add a mouseover event that displays the 'full Sent To email address"

I have several email addresses configured in my Outlook. Currently the only way I can find out which address a specific message was sent to is by viewing the message source and finding the sent to address in the message headers. This is idiotic, when it would be so easy to add a "mouse over event" to the Contact Object that is in the message view. Currently there isn't a way to view the the sent to address easily, and when viewing the contact, it shows you all the addresses in the contact and not just the one this message…

  5. Support import and export of both local and server based rules

Be able to export and import of local and server rules for outlook. There is a general import export which could be enhanced to allow this. It would be very helpful for profile clean-up This way one could separate the good stuff, then drop the junk and import the good stuff again in a refreshed profile.

  6. Bring back ADD TO AUTOCORRECT in Outlook (same as Word)

Having Add To Autocorrect available in the pop-up menu for misspelled words is the handiest feature that used to be available in Outlook but was removed soem time agao.

  7. Icons version 16.20 for Mac

The new icons are very very very ugly. That pure white over light gray is unappealing and they are all so similar that I need a few seconds of thinking and reading what they are before I can press them.

PS: How sneaky is it that I have to agree to be bombarded with stuff to submit my feedback?

  8. template appointment

Please make available the option to save a calendar appointment as template.

Under Windows I used the "save as" > template for appointments often. Unfortunately the "save as" is disabled in appointments, while it is available in e-mails (which I use even more often, too).

  12. Enable auto archive and Manual archive based on user settings option in Outlook for Mac like we have in windows.

Enable auto archive and Manual archive based on user settings option in Outlook for Mac like we have in windows. In windows user can either setup auto archive features in outlook for specific time period or user runs auto archive by just selecting outlook Folder and date under archive tab

  13. Allow editing w/o sending an email

Can you add a feature that allows people to update / edit calendar invites without sending an email update each and every time to the people on the invite? This causes unneeded emails being sent out and can almost be seen as spam to users on invites that get edited frequently.

  14. Allow for Exchange accounts to have scheduled send receive options like in Windows versions of outlook.

It seems that EXCHANGE accounts in Outlook for Mac do not have an option to schedule Send/receive/sync. I do not always want my emails to send automatically during certain times of the day and I do not want to have to schedule each email that I write.

  15. Visibility of Recipients name in a sub folder created in Sent Items

In the Sent Items Folder in My Computer, the Recipient’s name is visible when sorted out on the basis of Date Sent. However, a sub-folder created under “Sent Items” does not show the recipient’s name when sorted on the basis of Date Sent. It shows the name of sender only. This needs to be fixed as it not very convenient otherwise.

  17. Enable check-box selection of multiple categories at the same time. Avoid looping click sequence to add multiple categories.

Categories are an excellent feature as an alternative to layered folders and duplicated emails where the mails discusses multiple projects/subjects. Using it this way leads often to a requirement to assign multiple categories to a single email. Currently this requires looping through the category assignment multiple times. It would be ideal to be able to assign multiple categories in a single step using the current category menu with a check-box selection feature to compliment the current 'point and click'. Thanks.

  18. Allow Outlook Calendar to import from iCal and subscribe to online calendar subscriptions.

Subscriptions to online calendars are currently not allowed. This should be changed to allow subscriptions.

  19. Show calendar in the reading pane

It would be much more convenient if it was feasible to get the preview pane of the calendar in the reading pane.
