Enable "Save As" function to file complete emails to folders on computer
For users that are switching from PC to Mac, or are simply in the habit of creating an off-line archive of important emails, this is truly essential.

cursor
Hide the mouse cursor while typing... This is standard on the Mac (and has been since the 1980's.) When you type, the mouse pointer goes away, thus preventing it from obscuring the text you are typing.

Fix the bug that doesn't allow you to save a Contact card open from the FROM line unless you make a change to the contact first.
If you try to save a new contact from the FROM line of an email, clicking SAVE & CLOSE does nothing unless you make a change in the contact.
The functionality in WIndows Outlook 2016 is "ADD CONTACT" and it looks the same but actually adds a contact when you click the SAVE button.3 votes -

Create An Option to ACTUALLY Turn Off Junk E-Mail Protection
Junk E-mail is catching good emails, even when I put emails from those senders back in my inbox! I have turned the setting to "OFF" which isn't even labeled properly..The two lowest options for the levels of junk e-mail protection are as follows;
"None"
"Turn junk e-mail protection""Low"
"Catch the most obvious junk e-"When I set it to "None", things are STILL being cause by the junk filter. I work with databases so there are a number of automated reports that get emailed to me. I have filters set up to accept and organize those reports but junk…

The view of the Outlook mail
1/ The original of the outlook mail looks so white and hard to read the text. Add the background blue color will help a lot.
2/ All folders need colors too.
3/ I wish that I can attach the screenshots that will help you to see some problems or improvement the outlook mail. I kept the screenshots if you4 votes -

Change in email "status" would not occur until email was either resorted or folder collapsed and reopened
If your email is sorted by Status, opening or changing the status of an Unread email immediately moves it to Sent or Read and you lose your place in the list of Unread emails. Leaving the email in place until either the folder was collapsed and reopened, or the sorting criteria was changed, would prevent this and make it easier for those of us managing larger numbers of unread emails. This "feature" would apply to each folder so the change in status wouldn't "move" the email until resorted or collapsed and reopened the folder.

Inbox is blank
I am not able to view any mail on inbox folder after recent upgrade to my office 2016 for Mac. While all other folders are getting synchronised with the exchange server; Inbox remains blank - no message there. But I can see my inbox messages from Outlook on Windows and on my iPhone.

Collapse all below on option-click
It would be great if we could Option-Click the arrows next to the day or week and have ALL the items below close as well and then stay close even after app restart.

Ability to change date format in the list view when viewing the calendar in list view
The list view in outlook is very handy for a clean look. The problem is at a quick glance since it is in the Month-day-time format unless you know what the day is off the top of your head it gets really hard to make sense of it quickly. What I recommend is having an option to view it by day of the week (i.e. monday, tuesday, etc) when looking at it from the "work week" view. I think it would make it easier when looking at the week as a whole.
