  5. Number on Outlook Icon to notify emails

I appreciated the feature where the number of emails appeared on the Outlook icon on the dock when they came in. Then I knew that I would have reason to click on it and check my emails. That feature was in Outlook 2011, but seems to be missing from 2016. Not sure why you got rid of it. This for home use or business use.

  8. Outlook for Mac should no longer assume the "sent from" account when a user reads an email in the "all accounts" inbox

Currently, when a user marks (reads) an email in the "all accounts" inbox and selects "new email", Outlook for Mac wrongly assumes that the account this new email should be sent from is the same account the email the user was just reading. This defies any logic. The whole purpose of the "all accounts" inbox is to allow the user to look at all incoming mail regardless from what account.

The fact that Outlook for Mac simply assumes the sender account has legal implications. If an email is sent from the wrong account (e.g. customers), potentially sensitive information is now…

  10. Allow option to not strip newline characters from attachments.

Attachments that are really text files that do not have the .txt or .text file extension (and were not compressed into a zip file) have new line characters stripped from the attachment when saving. I understand that for the Windows version of Outlook there is an option to NOT do this. Why is this done in the first place?

  11. Consider adding some type of layer/mask over Calendars that only the ‘assistant' can view

I was wondering if Outlook can one day consider a calendar option for adding some type of layer/mask over calendars that only the ‘assistant’ can see for adding references/notes? Something along the lines of how the Photoshop has layers you can create and edit and delete.

EX: I manage three boss’ calendars plus my own and sometimes I would like to make notes on their calendars for my personal reference so I'm not constantly jumping calendars and without it showing on their calendars and confusing them.

  14. I suggest you hire/enlist individuals who are on the "Support" with knowledge, experience, and education to be able address problems/issues.

Hire individuals working with SUPPORT to have knowledge of the software, have experience working with the software, and most importantly, have education/training on the software.

  16. Bug fix: Typing disappears from Contact Notes during Send/Receive operations. Workaround is to "Work Offline" Klunky!

Fix the bug! This was a bug-a-boo in Outlook 2011. Frustrating to find it's worse in 2016. (In 2011 it was only a problem during Send, now it's both Send and Receive)

  19. Allow google contacts and calendar support for ALL Office 2016 MAC users. We are waiting.

    Hi,

I have paid and purchased Office2016 for MAC and currently use that for my work e-mail (private e-mail vide IMAP) and Gmail.

All my contacts are in my google account and I want to continue to have it that way.

You have offered the feature to office insider who have an Office 365 account with apps.

So what about the rest of us who paid to buy your software? Don't we get that release soon? It has been too long.
