  1. make it easier to send photos as attachments to email and not embed them

It is time consuming to attach photos to an email as an attachment. I typically don't wan to embed the photo and i don't want to upload and share from the cloud in a business email.

  2. Use same codebase for all platforms, Mac, Windows, Linux, etc.

For once and for all, integrate your code base for Office on all platforms so that they all work the same way (notwithstanding the minor differences that would result due to native OS differences, which are becoming less and less different with every version). This divergent user experience is ridiculous.

  4. Offer suggested times and rooms for meetings like in Windows version of Outlook

In the Windows version of Outlook 2013 and 2016, Outlook has the ability to offer suggested times based on free busy to hold the meeting along with open rooms in that window that is selected.

  5. Bring back displaying the 'Flag' next to any Outlook folder in which exists any email that the user 'flagged.'

You had this capability before. It later disappeared. Display the 'Flag' next to each and every folder containing one or more 'flagged' emails. This is very helpful in alerting the Outlook user that 'flagged' emails may be 'hiding' in existing folders.

  7. please make sure the sync of tasks works properly

during the last week there where times when i could not see 1 task in outlook for mac for hours after a reboot:
new tasks where synced but old tasks in the database could not be seen on mac even when they could be seen on ios.
But when i updated a single task on ios it would be seen synced on mac tool.

  8. notifications

I dock and undock often. When I do, I have windows which appear mostly offscreen with just the close, minimize, maximize buttons showing. I'd like to have a keyboard shortcut to easily move the calendar notifications.

  10. rule

Rule to help clear monitoring related messages.

The idea is this, Nagios sends us an email with the word 'PROBLEM' in the subject line when there is a 'PROBLEM' on a server. When that 'PROBLEM' goes away or is fixed, it then sends a new email with the same text in the subject line as before, but replaces 'PROBLEM' with 'RECOVERY'. Also the state of the check is shown such as OK, or CRITICAL, or WARNING.

It would be nice if there was a way with the rules to look for messages in a folder that have it take a…

Outlook on Mac 2011. Give more than 5 seconds to type name of new mail folder. Right now I have 5 seconds or less to type the entire new mail folder name before outlook stops allowing any typing

  13. Allow Collapse/Open of Conversations regardless of "Arrange By"

Allow Collapse/Open of Conversations regardless of "Arrange By". I want to arrange by FLAG and have conversations folded. This is not possible (only in the Mac version). The two functions are unrelated and should not be mutually exclusive options.

  14. Formatting preference to allow more emails to be seen in reading pane

Please create a preference that allows the user to choose whether he/she wants the email sender only only OR email subject only (right not you can only add or remove a message preview). I want to be able to see more emails in the pane instead of having to scroll. This feature exists for the Windows version, please port over to the Mac.

  15. I would like to join pictures in attached files,

I would like to join photos in a easiest way that it exist on a mac . Photos are located in an application named "photos" . It's very easy if you use mail application to extract and join it in a mail then to maximize and minimize the size . If you could develop an easier way to paste photos with outlook in a professional way and quickly change the sizes of the photos , it would be magic !!! .
Today no choice to copy paste pictures on word and change it , then copy to outlook.

  17. Embed hyperlinked images Outlook 2016 Mac

Add ability to hyperlink images in Outlook 2016 for Mac; either by easy-html embedding feature or by allowing images to be turned into hyperlinks (without converting them to text).

  19. Clutter

Clutter works great in the Windows version of Outlook (and in the iOS Outlook app), but does not divert as many messages to the Clutter folder in Mac Outlook 2016. I need to triage my emails on my phone before opening Outlook on my Mac because the iOS Outlook app sorts Clutter much more effectively.

  20. Improve user control over which attachments get synchronized to the local drive.

With Outlook for Mac implementing Sandboxing it is becoming very difficult to manage a large Inbox within the confines of entry level SSD sizes on MacBooks. At this moment, the user lacks any sort of control over the amount of data that gets synchronized to the local Profile Database.

    Suggestions:
    a) Allow the user to completely disable attachment download - attachments would only be downloaded when a user explicitly opens an attachment.
    b) Allow the user to disable attachment downloads per folder - this would help with people that use folders to manage older messages.
    c) Allow the user to…
