  1. Office 365 For Mac should have the same features available for the PC.

Office 365 For Mac should have the same features available that PC users get. You are paying for a half built product and this simply isn't good enough. I would like to be able to swap over from Google Docs but I am seriously looking at cancelling my office 365 subscription and going back to using Gmail / Calendar and Google Docs directly as there really isn't any point me using office 365 for Mac. It is as though Microsoft purposely want to focus on a product for their PC customers. If you made the product equal to that available…

  2. Customize ribbon

Provide an ability to customize the ribbon, like moving features around. I wanted to move the SEND button farther to the right but can't.

  3. Allow us to Customize the RIBBON and Quick Access Toolbar

Reorganize your ribbon so that functions are grouped together, OR better yet, allow users to customize their ribbons and quick access toolbars for their own needs as users on a Windows platform can!

  4. Allow ability to see Calendar (or tasks, etc.) on right sidebar while working in mail

Allow ability to see Calendar (or tasks, etc.) on right sidebar while working in mail. This was previously very helpful in past Windows versions

  5. How to export Zimbra to PST

If you want to export Zimbra to PST then you can try any professional software like KDEtools Zimbra to Outlook Converter. This software easily import Zimbra file to PST and numerous file formats such as EML, EMLX, HTML, PDF, NSF, OLM, and etc. The tool retains metadata of email during the conversion process. The tool is compatible with all the latest and oldest versions of Windows. The tool also supports Office 365 and Exchange Server account.

  7. Add an Undo button in the Home ribbon

The undo feature exists with (ctrl|cmd)-z and in the edit menu, though those locations are pretty hidden. A nice prominent button in the ribbon would be convenient after accidentally deleting mail.

  9. Add option to set so Outlook stops requesting confirmation when deleting messages.

Please add option in settings so I can stop Outlook from requesting confirmation when I am deleting any emails. This is cumbersome also because you require the confirmation with no way to turn it off.

  10. Add scripting access groups for AppleScript

This is needed so sandboxed apps can use script Outlook with AppleScript. According to Apple, it's not a lot of work to implement this:

    > For scriptable app developers, implementing support for access groups is relatively trivial, and requires making minor annotations in their app’s scripting definition (sdef) file. - https://developer.apple.com/library/archive/qa/qa1888/index.html#//appleref/doc/uid/DTS40015156-CH1-SANDBOXINGOSXAPPS__INCLUDINGSCRIPTABLEAPPSANDAPPLESCRIPTAPPS-ABOUTAPPLEEVENTSTEMPORARYEXCEPTION_ENTITLEMENTS

  11. To keep desktop version exactly the same as cloud version. Cloud is the best on usability now and i very much like it.

Cloud version now has the best usability. The only missing feature is native notifications on meetings. But i love how it filters to show only new content in the email thread. Great job!

  12. Dark Mode Option

I love the idea of the dark mode option, however on most cases I find it hard to read with a dark background due to recent updates. I hopes there's a permanent option to switch to light mode for reading pane, instead of having to push the light switch all the time when scrolling through emails.
Now I gotta turn off the whole dark mode option for reading and efficiency purposes.

  13. I suggest you enable RSS feeds for Mac

I suggest you enable RSS feeds for Mac. I really do. I know I'm not the first. I saw this posted previously and the response was:

"Thank you for your feedback, we have reviewed this feature, unfortunately, we will not be implementing this feature as this does not align with our overall goals. Thank you for your continued participation in making Outlook for Mac better."

Clearly we are not participating in making Outlook for Mac better. It won't happen because it doesn't align with "your' goals. I imagine the consumer goals are not important.

My question is, what does having…

  15. Why have you added having to hold control down as well when performing a 'send and receive" ?

In the latest update why have you added having to hold down the control button as well ?

  16. "Time zone changed" alert even if I travel between countries in the same time zone

    Hello,

I commute between the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic almost every week. Every time I do so, Outlook shows me an alert:

"The time zone setting for your computer has changed. Would you like to update the time zone setting in Outlook?"

The Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic are in the same Time Zone.

I use fast insider on macOS. My colleague commutes every day and he gets the same alert on the stable track on macOS. This issue has been happening to us at least for half a year already.

  17. Move five main controls from the bottom to the top

The five buttons for Mail, Calendar, People, Tasks, Notes are at the bottom of the page while the rest of the controls are all arranged on the top? Without a touch bar, the mouse is going up and down when working with email and calendar.
It would be fantastic if these controls could be configured to be arranged on the top of the account tree right under the ribbon.

  18. I suggest that you should bring back the two UP and DOWN arrows on the top right hand corner of the screen when we open the microsoft outloo

I suggest that you should bring back the two UP and DOWN arrows on microsoft outlook because that greatly increases the experience of using the microsoft outlook as it helps to scroll up and down the emails. Since you removed the up and down arrows now I have to close the email I read and select the next one from the list/panel of emails. Previously I just scrolled up and down to go into my desired emails. It will be highly appreciated if you can bring back the two UP and DOWN arrows in your current version of microsoft outlook…

  19. Add-ons should work in O365 Group email boxes

If I view a messages in a Groups mailbox (or a delegated mailbox) in Outlook, the Add-ons are not accessible. This is a real pain and means I have to subscribe to inbox delivery for these Groups when I don't want to. I know add-ons are per account, but maybe there is a way add-on's could be granted access?

  20. Support more file types in “Insert Link” smart link feature.

Be able to see and insert file types like JPEG, PNG, PDF and other non Microsoft document files located in cloud in either OneDrive or Sharepoint to be able to add it in the “Insert Link” feature when creating or responding to messages.
