  1. To make more friendly the way to share files

I had to use apple Mail to share a link from my one drive. Not possible to do it with outlook.
Actually I upload all them to dropbox.com because is easier than one drive in this specific case.

  2. Sort by multiple columns on tasks, such as by date then by priority

I want to be able to sort/group tasks by multiple columns similar to how it works on Windows. For example, I like to see the tasks by due date and then high priority at the top and low priority at the bottom on those dates.

  7. Green color for completed icon

Hi, if I flag an Item and mark it as completed afterwards, the icon is grey. However grey is not really intensiv and I can hardly see which mails are (not) completed while scrolling through my hundreds of emails. I would love to have the checked symbol in a green color. What do you think? Is there already a setting/idea I'm missing?

  8. Move e-mail and attach as task just as the windows version of outlook allows

I work on the 2 rule.... If it takes longer than 2 minutes, I task it. The problem is when I am on my Mac, I can't right click drag to tasks and "Move as attachment". I can do this perfectly well on my Windows client of Outlook, but the function is just not there on Mac. Thanks

  9. Create plugin to allow Task Allocation and Acceptance

We're years into the Outlook 365 for mac version. Why is there not a plugin to allow task generation and assignment?

In this time you've produced loads of other compatibility plugins such is the Customer Relations Manager but surely this is higher priority?

  10. Better Team-Working

It would be very helpful if finally it would also be possible to assign tasks for team members from Outlook for Mac. It would also be desirable to distribute tasks to teams.

  11. quick email reminder

this feature should allow to quickly tag emails viewing in a list style view as a reminder to complete or execute. while flagging is available it would be great to either drag the email to a button to to a list or righ click to add. a button on the top/ribbon will present a list of emails client/subject and click on and expand for future viewing.

  12. Tasks (or other items) created from emails should inherit categories by default

The new 'create item from email by dragging & dropping' feature in Insider fast programme release 15.35 is great, but would be even better if tasks and other items inherited the category of the email they were created from, by default.

I categorise emails by client, so ideally if an email is category 'Pink', if I create a task from it I also want that task by default to be category 'Pink'.

    Thanks!

  13. Support JIRA

I want a central overview about all my current tasks. For personal tasks I use Outlook. But for development tasks we make heavy use of JIRA (https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira).

So it would be nice to see my JIRA tasks in Outlook.

  14. rename

When a mail msg is used to generate a task (to be completed ...) it's not possible to rename the task, so in the task list there is only mail subject.
In Windows outlook this is possible.

    Thanks.

  15. Improve Recurrence or Repeat feature to include recur or repeat after last complete.

I remember in previous versions for Windows you could setup a repeating task to repeat or recur from the date you completed it and skip all the days missed in between the date it was due and the date you completed it.

So if a task was due on a specific day, and it is supposed to repeat everyday, but you missed a few days, you won't have to click complete for the days missed until the current day. It would recur after the last date completed.

Just as an example (maybe not a good one but...) if you had…

  16. Task's dates

I use Outlook mac 2016. I've put to one mail a flag "today" and that became a task. Then my account synchronized with windows outlook 2016 the same account. But task's changed a date to yesterday date.

  17. Create/edit tasks from directly from the tasklist

It'd be great to have ability to create/edit tasks directly from the tasklist (without opening the new task dialog).

  18. please make sure the sync of tasks works properly

during the last week there where times when i could not see 1 task in outlook for mac for hours after a reboot:
new tasks where synced but old tasks in the database could not be seen on mac even when they could be seen on ios.
But when i updated a single task on ios it would be seen synced on mac tool.

  19. Fixing the category sort in Outlook for Mac 2016

Fixing the category sort in Outlook for Mac 2016 or adding in a Schedule Plus Priority field like there is in the PC version.

This is real negative for those of us who want to use categories to help prioritize our work.

In advance, thank you for considering.

  20. Add a task feature to email messages to create a task out of the email that was just sent.

An email message should have a option to create a task and title it and add a followup date before sending the message.
