  2. Automatically display photo for an email based on Gravatar / Facebook / LinkedIn / etc

If there is no image associated with a contact/email address, Outlook should fetch a public image from Gravatar, Facebook, or LinkedIn.

This should be configurable - users can specify which sources they would like to use and in what priority order.

  3. Allow additional address line in contact

Many, if not the majority, of business addresses contain multiple lines (Suite, Bldg, etc.). I see no ability to add these to a contact.

  6. Turn on SharePoint Connect to Outlook

Turn on SharePoint Connect to Outlook. We have a phone book in SharePoint but I have to sign Mac users into Outlook on a windows PC that they don't have to get updates. Also doesn't work well in Virtual Machine (VMFusion)

  7. Enable Server side Distribution List

Outlook for Windows and Outlook Web Access support locally stored distribution lists. This is not supported by Outlook for Mac even with the new Version. Please add this functionality to be compatible!

  8. address book

Add or remove an address book

Please allow the ability to add and remove address books as well as specify a default address. This functionality has always been in the Windows version. Would like to see it in the Mac version.

  9. Extra alphabetical sort options needed for contacts

when you use the alphabetical sorting of contacts (on first or last name), there should be a possibility to choose a second criterium or a standar way to make the sorting more logical.

When you choose sorting on first name and have several people with the same first name for example you get things like this

    Adam King
    An Goodman
    An Bloom
    An King
    An Arrow
    Ben Hoover
    ..

    instead of

    Adam King
    An Arrow
    An Bloom
    An Goodman
    An King
    Ben Hoover
    ...

  10. Please disable contact photo. This takes so much space on small screens.

Simply allow switching this option off/on completely like in Windows version. Currently I see initials in a big colour circle, if the photo is not available. This is not needed.

  11. Improve the contact card

It takes too many clicks to see relavant information for a given contact, improve this!

  12. Address Book

When you open the address book, the default for the search location is "All Folders," not "Address Book." This results in an empty screen unless you type something for it to search. I want to be able to see my entire address book immediately, so I can just select an entry. This is how it worked in Outlook 2011 for Mac. Please allow me to somehow specify "Address Book" as my default search location instead of "All Folders."

  13. Bring back the Global Address list

I cannot see all of the contacts on our public exchange server. What happened to the Global Address list function?

  14. New Contact Group - please, please, please.

I can see the "New Contact Group" in the ribbon, but it is grayed out. Please turn on this functionality. Sure would save a lot of keystrokes.

    Thank you.

  15. Allow Outlook.com people to Sync with Outlook for Mac

I added an iMac to my network and thought I could sync my Outlook.com people with my iMac as they sync with my other iOS devices but for some reason they don't: the People tab in Outlook for Mac 2016 remains empty even after emails have been synched with Outlook.com. I'm not sure whether this is a user error, a bug or a feature but it is confusing that I can't make it work and that the same idea is declared as "implemented" or "declined" in this forum. I'm looking for support - thank you.

  16. People-free/busy quick lookup

Ability to hover over a person's name and see their free/busy availability for the current day. This is often needed, but requires creating a meeting to see their availability for the day, and then cancel the meeting afterwards. Use case is to quickly identify when someone is NOT in a meeting, and more likely to be available for a visit or phone call in the next several hours.

  20. Visualize contacts by multi-item list: to see at the same time phones, emails, creation date, etc.

Improve view of contact list: ability to see many fields (email, phone, creation date, etc.), to choose these fields and to sort contacts by fields.
