  2. Offer suggested times and rooms for meetings like in Windows version of Outlook

In the Windows version of Outlook 2013 and 2016, Outlook has the ability to offer suggested times based on free busy to hold the meeting along with open rooms in that window that is selected.

  4. notifications

I dock and undock often. When I do, I have windows which appear mostly offscreen with just the close, minimize, maximize buttons showing. I'd like to have a keyboard shortcut to easily move the calendar notifications.

  5. Smaller updates

Smaller updates. Updates are almost 1GB. There has to be a way to makes the downloads smaller. With all the other Office apps this is unbearable. Almost 5 GB to update the whole Office suite.

  7. Sunrise Equivalency

Since Sunrise is going away please build the same functionality in to Outlook ASAP, including multiple calendars such as Google, quick entry iOS keyboard, etc, etc.

  8. Allow for scheduling to have fuzzy/imprecise times

Many Calendar reminders do not need to have an exact time, but rather just a time window. Example: I just need to call Mr. Jones next Friday morning; I don't need (necessarily) to call Mr. Jones at a specific time next Friday morning. These fuzzy times could be set in preferences. This would be superior to the current alternatives, which consist of (1) scheduling "Call Mr. Jones" at a specific time ("9am"), or (2) scheduling it for a time range that represents morning ("8am-11am"). Currently, with enough "fuzzy time" appointments, the schedule starts looking as if one has committed to…

  10. Make lines/boxes between days in Month View darker.

Cannot distinguish between days in Month View because the lines are not dark enough. Very disconcerting and hard to use.

  11. view non-consecutive days side by side

I would like to be able to view non-consecutive days side by side like i can on the PC. I think the benefits are self explanatory with regards to organizing and moving appointments around.

  12. Better performance for displaying other calendars.

Better performance for displaying other calendars. The functionality to view in other calendar is available. But Windows does it 10 times faster and the Mac Outlook is partially ceased to operate or individual elements appear after several minutes. (In the worst case scenario you get the appointment then already posted!)

  13. Change Dismiss button to set Reminder to None

Change the Dismiss button in the Reminders window to actually dismiss the reminder by setting it to None. This would match the behavior of the Windows version of Outlook. The current and past versions for Mac leave the reminder time set so you can be reminded of past appointments you have dismissed erroneously.

  14. Allow linking between Appointments and People's Contact without invitation

Allow the possibility to link appointments from the calendar to people's contact without having to invite them to a meeting as in Outlook for Windows existent for years. You would expect that Outlook 2016 being the first real improvement of Outlook for Mac since 5 years would gradually become more similar to the Office version for Windows, but instead it still misses the functionality of the later in many areas and looks as ****** as before - despite the desperate seemingly attempt to introduce a more colorful design.

  15. Time to leave

Add "Time to Leave" as alert option for appointments.

Using current location -> location of invite similar to how the iPhone does it. We understand this may require upstream changes to Office 365 unless it currently supports it.

  18. show participant when mousing over calendar entry

When mousing over an calendar entry, the following informations are shown:
    - subject
    - date & time
    - that i am the organisator
    - the place, where the date is
    - and when the alarm comes

It would be wonderful if, maybe the first 3, participants can be shown as well.

  19. Don't remember Category of last Calendar item selected when creating new items

I use the click and drag method all day, every day to create appointments on my calendar. I also use categories to track important things about these appointments. Outlook is remembering the Category of the last Calendar item I clicked on and using that for any new item I create using click and drag. I can see where this could be useful. For me it causes a lot of issues, as I have to go back and constantly take away categories from new items. Rarely is the new item categorized the same as the last item I clicked on.

    Perhaps…
