  1. Not display the date of appointments in calendar month view, for it is redundant and prevents the full names of appointments being displayed

    Not display the date of each appointment in the calendar month view, for it is redundant and prevents the full names of appointments being displayed. The date of each appointment is adequately given by its position in the grid on the calendar.

  2. Change Dismiss button to set Reminder to None

    Change the Dismiss button in the Reminders window to actually dismiss the reminder by setting it to None. This would match the behavior of the Windows version of Outlook. The current and past versions for Mac leave the reminder time set so you can be reminded of past appointments you have dismissed erroneously.

  3. Allow linking between Appointments and People's Contact without invitation

    Allow the possibility to link appointments from the calendar to people's contact without having to invite them to a meeting as in Outlook for Windows existent for years. You would expect that Outlook 2016 being the first real improvement of Outlook for Mac since 5 years would gradually become more similar to the Office version for Windows, but instead it still misses the functionality of the later in many areas and looks as ****** as before - despite the desperate seemingly attempt to introduce a more colorful design.

    Make week numbers visible in the "day picker" in the top left corner of the calendar window (not only in the heading of the large calendar view. Just as in the Windows version of Outlook 2013.

  5. Time to leave

    Add "Time to Leave" as alert option for appointments.

    Using current location -> location of invite similar to how the iPhone does it. We understand this may require upstream changes to Office 365 unless it currently supports it.

  6. Allow delegates to create Online Meetings on behalf of

    Currently delegates cannot create a Lync (or Skype for Business) Online Meeting on behalf of their manager/principal/delegator. They can create a meeting on behalf of, just not an online meeting on behalf of (see link below).

    Please add that function as many of our admins are left out in the cold!!!

  8. Event Location Auto-Complete

    I am looking for the Location of Appointments to be auto-completed via the online database, e.g. on Outlook for PC if I type “Eiffel” it will suggest the location as “Eiffel Tower, France”. This is not happening on the Outlook for Mac. Thank you!

  9. Short Event Detail Display

    When displaying short events on larger time scales (say a 15 min event on a 12 hr time scale) the title is not visible. Please correct this aspect. Thank you!

  10. scheduling assistant should show MY (organizer) availability

    currently it shows unknown availability for organizer. Have to add myself to the invitees to see my availability.

    since i've had the Mac, my calendar events no longer change my jabber status to busy/on a webex, etc.

  12. show participant when mousing over calendar entry

    When mousing over an calendar entry, the following informations are shown:
    - subject
    - date & time
    - that i am the organisator
    - the place, where the date is
    - and when the alarm comes

    It would be wonderful if, maybe the first 3, participants can be shown as well.

  13. Optimize the day view time slots

    Please optimize the time slots on the day view in the Calendar.
    When you double-click on the top and bottom halves of a time slot, the default start and end times are different. Please correct this so that the times are the same in the entire time slot. Thank you!

  15. Don't remember Category of last Calendar item selected when creating new items

    I use the click and drag method all day, every day to create appointments on my calendar. I also use categories to track important things about these appointments. Outlook is remembering the Category of the last Calendar item I clicked on and using that for any new item I create using click and drag. I can see where this could be useful. For me it causes a lot of issues, as I have to go back and constantly take away categories from new items. Rarely is the new item categorized the same as the last item I clicked on.
