  1. Align cmd/alt+delete behavior with the rest of macOS universe

In every other text field on macOS, alt+delete deletes the entire word to the left as well as the space that preceded it. Cmd+delete also deletes the entire line. Outlook for Mac (and all other Office for Mac products) should align to this, rather than both deleting just the preceding word (and not the space).

  3. Add out off office option to (repeating) calendar event

It would be great to be able to add an OOO message to a calendar event. Especially when the event is repeating.

In my case I work 4 days a week and have 1 day off. Now I have to activate a new OOO every single week.

  5. Enable resources to be added to calendar invites from third parties. When I receive an invite from an external party for a conference call

Allow resources to be invited to third party meeting requests.

When I receive an invite from a third party I want to accept their meeting request but also to assign a room if they are visiting us or the meeting is a conference call. At the moment I have to set up a separate calendar entry to invite a resource.

  6. Drag email to calendar

I tried to drag an email to calendar to set up an event and it didn't work, for either Outlook 15.40, or for Office 365 in Firefox.

I just downloaded Office 15.40 for Macs, and it installed and ran. I really like the feature of dragging an email to the calendar to set up an event--is it browswer specific?

  7. All day recurring event saves as 24 hours NOT 23 hours

When I set an all day event for all day it saves as all day event at top ofthe correct day. As soon as I add a recurrence it change to 23 hours and you cannot amend it back to 1 day from 00:00

  8. folder shared calendar

Allow shared calendars to be organized into folders. I have a number of meeting rooms as shared calendars, and it would be nice to put them all in one folder.

  9. Add "go to date" to the Mac version of Outlook's calendar as it is available in the PC version.

The PC version of outlook's calendar allows the user to "go to Date". This is not available in the Mac version of outlook's calendar. Please add this capability so I don't have to click the month calendar backward 84 times to go back to my calendar in 2012.

  11. craig.wood@avanade.com

When responding to an invite, allow for CC: and/or adding recepients to an accept/decline response. This is possible in the Windows version and helpful to alert other people on the invite if there are conflicts, etc. that might be of interest. I am having to do this subsequently as a second step from my sent items folder with Outlook for Mac.

  12. add a feature to cross off days on the calendar in outlook

One a day is over, it should automatically be crossed off with X or a line or blacked out.

  14. Allow Outlook Meeting details import to One Note

Allow easy import of Meeting details from Outlook to One Note. This is a feature in Windows but not in OS. One Note has a button for you to import the details (time, date, attendees, subject) of any meeting on your outlook calendar.

  15. Sub-windows should be able to be moved to separate desktops when Outlook is in full screen

When desktop Outlook is in full screen and any sub-window is open (email message, calendar appointment details, contact card, task window, etc.), please allow the sub-window to be moved to any space on the desktop and not locked to the full screen outlook.

  20. Comments in Calendar (Like Excel)

It would be great if we could insert comments (similar to adding comments in a cell in Excel). This would be very useful when you manage another users calendar. They can see what you've done, where you're at without overwhelming their calendar with extra items. I would benefit from this as well from an admin point of view.
