  1. sharing calendar

On outlook for Mac you cannot share a calendar by sending a mail to several attendees, thus you can use exchange mailing list (that you must expand for this to work).

You have to add them to the sharing permissions, but they won't receive a notification. You need to tell them separately send an email telling to do this
navigate to 'Tools'> Accounts> select the account to which the calendar is shared to> Advance> Delegates> select 'Open these additional mailboxes' and enter your email address to accept the shared calendars.

What a mess ! compare to receiving an invite that…

  2. Add support for responding to iCal Calendar notifications.

When an iCal user sends a calendar invite, ability to accept or reject invitation via Outlook is missing. Please, add support for that.

  4. Set the reminder time when creating an appointment

When making an appointment in the new outlook experience, there's no option to control the reminder time, which is something I often change depending on the type of meeting/appointment.

This is available in the Windows version of Outlook.

  5. Make the Mac Outlook 365 calendar scrollable. This is a pretty basic feature.

  6. Meeting Room based on availability

May I request that (like in the iOS Outlook app and the O365 mail) when in Outlook for Mac, when scheduling a meeting, that the default list of meeting rooms shows ONLY the meeting rooms that are available at the time of the meeting? This would be amazing! I’m happy to talk more or show you what I mean. Thank you!

  8. I suggest that events and meetings stored in the MacOS Calendar app should be able to fully integrated into Outlook for MacOS.

Users should be able to add/edit/delete events and meetings from their MacOS Calendar app in Outlook for MacOS.

Particularly in the case where .ics files can be imported for the events, Outlook for MacOS should fully support them just like it does on Windows.

  9. Meetingroom Settings

Provide the ability to make resource settings, such as Free, Booked, Location, and Subject for meeting rooms, similar to Windows.

  10. Check a meeting is saved before closing the window when you click send.

If there is a connection hickup before or during creating a meeting then when you click send all your hard earned typing is thrown to the wind and the meeting is never saved. I end up with new appointment on my calendar but noone is invited.

  13. Allow subscribing to published iCal calendars and vice versa

I suggest that you add functionality to both Outlook for Mac and Outlook for Windows to enable subscribing to published iCal calendars (or Mac Calendar.app), and to enable publishing of Outlook calendars in a form that can be subscribed to from iCal. This should, of course, sync changes in both directions.

  14. Allow Outlook Calendar to import from iCal and subscribe to online calendar subscriptions.

Subscriptions to online calendars are currently not allowed. This should be changed to allow subscriptions.

  15. Ability to use your finger to change appointments

If a task takes longer than expected, I need to change all following tasks manually by clicking on each appointment and adjusting the time by 30 mins or changing the day if I don't make it anymore. Why can't I just move appointments using touch on my phone? If it's an option you can switch on yourself, people can choose whether they want to have this feature or not.

  16. Make UNDO work after deleting something from my calendar.

Here's an idea. Maybe when I accidentally delete an appointment or meeting the UNDO feature might work.

  17. Add ability to open Calendar in separate window on macOS

Please add the ability to open Calendar in a new window as you can on Windows, would make cross-referencing e-mails and calendars much easier.

  18. Show calendar notification and Show as settings along with invite - Mac

    1) When a calendar invite arrives in my inbox, I would like to know the notification and calendar 'Show as' setting before accepting or declining the invite. Sometimes people set 'Show as' setting to be Out of Office while sending the invite and when I accept it, my calendar shows as Out of Office.

    2) And I don't want to get any notifications for such OOTO invites. So, I would like to have control of changing the notification setting while accepting an invite.

  19. Allow undocking of calendar

I use Windows and Mac for work so it is an everyday requirement. Outlook on windows allows you to open the Calendar as a seperate window. That way I can keep my Outlook mails section and Outlook Calendar open at the same time. In Mac I can only have either or open.

  20. Mac Meeting Notification

For Mac, Outlook utilizes its own notification system. It would be great to see Outlook be able to utilize the default Mac notification system for Calendar.
