Mark as junk mail *and* block sender in one go
When manually marking an inbox item as junk, the sender should also be blocked as a matter of course.

When a mass mailing hits your servers, can't your filters recognize spam?
Spammers change the user name and keep sending junk from the same same domain. To stop spam one needs to block the entire domain. Currently, the process is:
1. copy the email address
2. go to settings
3. go to view more
4. go to block sender
Step one is difficult.
The easy solution is to:
From the Junk dropdown menu replace "Block" with:

When you BLOCK an email address Outlook AUTOMATICALLY sends the related email message to the JUNK folder!
It would be great if we could simultaneously block a sender and report an email as junk.
Why would you want to keep what you've blocked?
When adding rules, the options to tag. for example any mail from domain ".trade" or ".bid" so that it is
b) marked as junk
all at the same time, should be available.

With the proliferation of email bots I receive far too much spam email. I would like a quick and easy way to block senders.
Change the block sender to auto move those emails to trash.
Use junk mail for "junk" you have chosen to receive but don't want cluttering up your inbox. That would eliminate the double step people are talking about and provide a better distinction between spam/unwanted emails vs fluff/ads/subscriptions you want to get but don't need to deal with immediately in inbox.
It also gives you a viable option for managing spam that makes it through your service providers filters - right now this is a big unresolved issue that several companies are dealing with.

When I open new Outlook I want the top message active to my keyboard without having to click it. Old version allowed me to hit delete key if I read the preview and was ready to get rid of the message. Or I could use arrow keys to move down through messages. I could hit enter when I wanted to open a message. Please bring those options back. The previous ability meant that I did not have to move the cursor to the message, I just had to open and get started. It's not hard to move the cursor -- just annoying. Thanks!
...and what if the sender email address is just a spoofed address of one of your contacts?
I agree! I continue to get email from senders previously marked as junk
