New Contact Group - please, please, please.
I can see the "New Contact Group" in the ribbon, but it is grayed out. Please turn on this functionality. Sure would save a lot of keystrokes.
I want to be able to organize my contacts in custom groups and using custom fields/categories. I manage several different projects with many people from different organisations and I want to be able to group/organize my contacts so that I easily can find and email all contacts that are related to a project. So if I type "Project A" in the "to"-field, the email will be sent to all the contacts that I have added to the contact group called "Project A".
Another example is needing to get in touch with all the CEO's of different partner organizations. The I want to create a group and put all the CEO's in it.
I also need to be able to put one contact in several different groups.
I am also missing the option to manage groups and add contacts at Skype for Business (V16.6.333) of Microsoft Outlook for Mac Version 15.34 (170515).
Please add these important features! They have been already available at Lync for Mac.

This has been asked for on here but not done clearly.
The scenario for "on premise" exchange setup's is the following:
Log into OWA, create a new Contact Group ('My Buddies") add people to it and save it.
On your Windows Office 2016 machine you can add people to My Buddies, you can remove them, you can e-mail them.
On your Mac Office 2016 machine you can't see "My Buddies" you can't add to it nor remove from it.
You have too turn off the "Hide on My Computer groups" options to even be able to add a "Contact Group" but this is just local to that Mac & doesn't travel with you to other machines.
I don't why this isn't possible but the ability to create and save Contact Groups on Mac's that get pushed to Exchange and this appear in OWA is a real a pain.
I don't know of this problem exists with Office 365 or not.
Ability to highlight groups of people in your address book and create a New Contact Group
Contact groups are local. Open Preferences, General, then uncheck the "Hide On My Computer Folders."
