Put the Favorites Folder in like Outlook2013 PC has
We need the Favorites feature in the list of accounts on the left just like Outlook 2013 for Windows has.

This feature is now available in Production: https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/outlookformac/2017/07/11/production-new-sidebar-with-favorites-and-send-later-now-available/

To say this is needed is a huge understatement. It's like having a radio in your car, without having the 5 or 6 buttons to pre-set your favorite stations. You have to keep hitting up or down to find your fave stations! It's been in OL for Windows as far back as 2003, so I really don't understand what's the reason for not being included in the Mac version. Is MSFT trying to force people to use Windows just so they can have the Favorites Folder in their OL??!

Agree completely, even if you just had inbox, sent and the option for a few favourite folders pinned to the top of the Inbox file structure it would make life a lot easier!

I am completely lost without my FAVORITES option. Very disappointed to have gotten a new Macbook - pay the money for my favorite programs only to find them altered. I depend on this to sort out personal, business and work emails.

Check out Mac Mail it allows for favorites bar right underneath the header bar. I move 90% of my mail that way (or delete the rest). Yes on the left side would be passable, but I'd live to see it as a bar across the top, much easier to manipulate. It is the one feature that keeps me from using Outlook are often

Absolute necessity for organizing folders and surfacing the folders I am using at that moment for current projects.

Yes! We need this. Outlook is the best MS product going. Not sure why it is so crippled on the Mac when compared to the features in Windows.

I'm not sure why this feature is in every other version of Outlook except for Mac. Even my webmail has it. It's an essential aspect of how I organize my work. Please add it to the Mac version.

Put a Favorites folder in Outlook 2016 for Mac

I agree fully with this idea. This allows me to have a folder only with unread or marked mails from all my accounts. This also allows me to automatically categorize and save mails to subfolders, while being able to view all new and incoming mails in one central folder. This is a very effective way of managing large inboxes with lots of incoming daily mails.

Hundreds of clients emails going to folders, along with financial and other subscription emails, and no way to make it easy to get to my priority folders. Where is the darn favorites bar, like in Windows? So disappointing!

This is definitely a must-have feature that most e-mail clients allow you to do. Absolutely needs to be an action item in the ribbon. The only missing feature that keeps me thinking about Apple Mail...

Please fix this ASAP. Outlook Mac users NEED to have a favorites list that we can add folders to (including smart folders).
Also it is wildly important that the favorites list of folders does not scroll out of view when scrolling through remaining folders available. Having hundreds of folders based on accounts it is imperative that I be able to identify folders that I wish to remain in view at all times in the navigation pane.
PLEASE FIX THIS!
Also, it would make so much more sense if MS would stop withholding features from the Mac version of products that are available in the PC version of their products. It is wildly inconsiderate to provide fundamental functionalities to one set of users that are not available to all MS product users regardless of OS.

Favorites folder would do the job, but in an effort to not be too prescriptive, what I need is the ability to lock certain folders to the top of my nav bar so I can access them at any time. I have hundreds of folders in my Outlook and if I scroll down to access one I need to scroll all the way back up to re-access Inbox/Sent/Deleted. It's a ton of extra effort and far less efficient to what I'm used to.
Favorites supported this requirement, so asking for simply bringing that back, but would be happy with anything to resolve this use case.
