Put the Favorites Folder in like Outlook2013 PC has
We need the Favorites feature in the list of accounts on the left just like Outlook 2013 for Windows has.

This feature is now available in Production: https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/outlookformac/2017/07/11/production-new-sidebar-with-favorites-and-send-later-now-available/

A favourites folder that can host a smart folder would be really great! Smart folders are moderately useless stuck at the bottom of a large folder structure.

Shocking that MS would release 2016 without a Favourites group, for people multiple accounts its actually essential.

This is an absolute MUST! It really annoys me that we don't have this feature. 3 Votes on this one

+1 for favorites. Why on Earth would this be included in one version and not another? Who wants to scroll to the bottom of their folder listing all of the time??

Favorite folders in sidebar (or, here's a wild idea -- all of the features available in Outlook for Windows!!!)

I suggest you build in a Favourites Menu in Outlook 2016 for Mac - big productivity improvement for people with large amount of email folders

Outlook for PCs has a favorites folder. This is so important for those of us who have many folders but use a few over and over again each day.

Agree with the comments below - I used this feature on my work laptop (Windows) a lot, and it annoys me every time I access my work email on my mac. This should be a "must have" feature.

On a Mac - Add the option to put a "favorites" area to add selected folders to, at the top of the list of folders like in Outlook for Windows.
When a user has a long list of folders and only 1 or 2 that are most used it would be so helpful to be able to add the most used ones to a favorites area that is at the top of the list of all folders -

This is a HUGE issue. Cannot believe that anyone ever believed not supplying this was a good idea.

Seriously, Microsoft? Who sat in a room and thought, "Yes, let's make a conscious decision to remove this for Mac users?" Please rectify ASAP... I have a LOT of folders and loved Favorites! Thanks

What possible reason could there be for not having this for Mac 2016 after all of the complaints in the previous Outlook for mac?!

This is a must have and seems like it would be simple enough to do. Just moved from a PC and I terribly miss having a favorites folder.

I agree, but I think this is the same thing as this suggestion, which is much higher up the list in vote counts: https://outlook.uservoice.com/forums/293343-outlook-for-mac/suggestions/9237645-put-the-favorites-folder-in-like-outlook2013-pc-ha
