Put the Favorites Folder in like Outlook2013 PC has
We need the Favorites feature in the list of accounts on the left just like Outlook 2013 for Windows has.

I agree with all of this. In fact, I was one of the first 50 people to vote for this. I am writing this on my PC with my favorites front and center. But this shortcut on the Mac has actually made me not hate using Outlook on it. Command + Shift + M brings up a window for moving an email. As a big fan of keyboard shortcuts I actually find now that I can file emails faster on my Mac than I can on my PC even with favorites. Cmd + Shft + M and then start typing the name of the folder. Depending on how you have folders named this is pretty awesome.

Microsoft won't do it because they don't want parity between the mac and windows version. they need the windows to be more feature packed.

This would be extremely useful, as I have somewhere in the region of 100+ folders in my current view.

There needs to be a Favorites folder or at least some way to change the order of items in the sidebar.

Definitely need this. Specific folders should be at the top as priority and not at the bottom where they are not seen. Funny to have "Smart Folders" that are not smart.

Why in the name of anything you might call..obvious..do you keep the favorite folders from the mac version? I would switch form Mac's mail app if that happened.

Please add the Favorites folder to the Folders pane. I am using it since Outlook 2007.

The ability to have favorites folders and organize them in a user determined order is a must have feature for any serious email application. There's no good reason not to support this feature in the Mac version of Outlook.

Stop trying to keep people on Windows by crippling the mac version of outlook! Add the favorites folder. Just doing that would get me to switch from apple mail to outlook 2016 mac.

Currently Outlook for Mac does not have the option to set and freeze your frequently accessed folders at the top of the folders list on the left side of Outlook. I use many folders to organize various business activities and this feature, which exists in Outlook for PC, would be extremely useful.

I totally agree with the rest of the comments. Have waited for this feature to be added for a long time. Outlook for Mac is a long way from its Windows version when it comes to features.

the smart folder in the sidebar in outlook mac is completely of no use, as it resides at the bottom of the entire list of folders, would be great if this was positioned at the top of the folder list in the sidebar much like the Windows version of outlook

Bring back the Favorites Bar from Entourage!!!! If you put in horizontally, you can completely hide the Folder List and get a bunch of screen real estate. If you put it in the Folder List, you still have to keep all that open!

This feature simply needs to be added to Outlook for Mac. It's in Outlook 365 and works great. I get really tired of scrolling up and down my email boxes, especially when I want to move an email to another box, then have to scroll all the way back up to the inbox. Creating a Favorites Folder list at the top and keeping it there while scrolling the rest of the folders would be awesome. A must-add feature.
