Web calendar
Would like to have the ability to add external, web (.ICS) calendars in Outlook calendar. For example, I use TripIt as one of my calendars, they provide a webcal/caldav link that would allow me to see my travel calendar from Outlook (this is supported in the PC version) but 2016 still does not support that. Please consider it, it is not very hard but makes life SO much easier.

Unbelievable that this import functionality is not yet in place. 5 years in the making? Technically, this should be a quick fix. Is there a non-technical reason for not implementing this?

This is an important feature as many vendors provide calendar invites as ICS for compatibility across OS & platform.

Thought I would drop iCal and use office 365 on my mac instead - but this limitation is an no go! I am not able to add or subscribe to school calendars or holidays :(

Pretty insane that in 2020 this isn't supported. Schools, sports leagues, clubs, etc. all commonly publish internet calendars. If Outlook can't provide a complete picture of my schedule, honestly, I have no reason to use it.

Microsoft, get into the game please...NOW! This is such a basic and common feature so it's kinda embarrassing it's not there already!!

when will this be implemented?
Should just be a straight forward add button and enter iCal URL ??? -

While I can add .ics files to Outlook on a Mac, I don't see any of the details, like everyone else. I've read enough to know that this is an X-ALT-DESC issue, but surely there's a fix around the corner. Our company just upgraded to 365 and we have 100's of Mac users, if not thousands.

I use it for displaying the vacation calendar of my teammates. A workaround, for O365 customers, is to subscribe to the web calendar in Outlook on the Web. Even if Outlook for Windows supports .ICS, I found that Outlook on the Web was more reliable.

Nearly 4 years and still NADA.
It's anachronistic that I need to add my Exchange account to Mac, just to be able to subscribe to internet calendars using iCal. -

It would be really helpful to integrate .ics-calendar and apple contacts import to MS Office for MAC. It would make me switch to use only Outlook again, having all relevant communication data in one place.

Nearly 4 years !
Isn't it time to do something ?
It's simple function and so usefull. -

Why is it so long to implement that functionality. It's a real pain and why Outlook for windows has so many functions I don't have. I pay the same price every year and should get the same functions on Mac. Otherwise give me a discount !

Hello Microsoft!! Is anyone looking into this? It has been on here since 2015, went under review in 2016 and some FOUR YEARS later we have seen or heard nothing.
By the time you get to this I am sure most of us will have moved over to the Apple mail and calendar system as they can now support exchange properly.
Please give us some feedback.

Hello Microsoft, is someone listening? Either you put direct support for ics links in Office 365 so it got synced to Outlook for Mac or you implement direct support in the app.
Many tools have ics based export/sync which in our case is our HR-Tool.
To not see this Information is pretty annoying.
Go on and fix this -

I can only add .ics files to my apple calendar. There is no option to import them to my desktop Outlook calendar.

This would enable me to add my private calendar as view only to Outlook (mac and iOS).

This is missing for years now (was neither included in Outlook 2011), while it is available for the Windows version. Just not acceptable that this feature is missing.
