Missed plenty of meetings because of the notifications being lost with multiple monitors. Given that emails use the Notification Center, why not calendar?

Yes please support native OS X notifications!
I just can't put it any other way—I am really sorry—but: the Outlook notifications suck.
This is really bad UX and it goes on for years.
The German version even comes with a bad translation.
Come on you really can do better. You have to. -

It would be really really nice to see this 5 year old feature request land. As someone with ADHD, the current custom functionality hinders my ability to work effectively. Going through the notification center would dramatically help improve the situation for me.

Hi, the idea is under review since quite some time now.....
@Microsoft can you please give an update what's going on? -

PLEASE!! i can never find the random place the notification ends up on my mac with 3 screens. if it's in the notification center, i can find it and it'll be actually useful.

Please do this!! Not native notifications for outlook are killing me. Its insane to implement a different notification type, and breaks conventions like do not disturb, as well as historical notifications in the notification center.

I switched to the web version of Outlook in Chrome on my work Mac because Outlook for Mac's notifications are not native. I really hope this gets fixed.

I don't care about the look and feel of the the toaster notification as long as it respect the «Do not disturb» option of OSX

You must make Outlook more like a macOS native app

this is absolute basics, there are so many times that my computer chimes during a meeting because Outlook doesn't respect the do not disturb that it's embarrassing

Under review since 2015? I regularly miss meetings because this feature is missing. I can't use Apple's calendar either because my company won't support 2FA app passwords :(.

yeah definitely something that proper Mac OS app should support, as many others have indicated - hopefully coming soon!
of course meanwhile you can add your O365 account in Mac OS (without syncing email, but do sync calendar and you might want contacts also) and use Calendar widget in notification center

This is really something that a good MacOS app (which Outlook has the potential to be) should support.

Can this get done already. This has been a major headache for ages now.

It's crazy to me that this has not been implemented yet...please please please add this. Literally nobody I work with likes using Outlook's bespoke calendar reminder popup.
