Create & fully manage rules from Mac Outlook
Suggestion made well over a year ago; all comments valid. The parent suggestion is still under review. Here is another: there is no way in Mac Outlook that I've found to save/restore rules when Outlook/Exchange corrupts them. And other related one: "Using Outlook for Mac to edit rules might delete rules that were created in Outlook for Windows." Why are these products incompatible? But what's the point Microsoft? Sorry; I won't bother trying to suggest any more - it is apparent you aren't listening to your users anyway.

Ability to set rules in Mac office 2016 for messages and these to be fixed on Windows PC also. You have to be opt for one or other and fail to synchronise between two
Fix Exchange Server rules. I still get this error on my Mac in Outlook 2016 when I try to edit some rules "This rule is defined to run only in Outlook for Windows. To view or edit this rule, use Outlook for Windows."
Outlook on a Mac needs to have full functionality without needing to also own/run a PC.

I have edited multiple rules in Outlook for Mac and when trying to save the changes I get this error message:
"Rules could not be saved because there is an error in the rules. Edit the rules, and then try to save the rules again."
What? I mean WHAT???
Firstly, I have edited the rules in your UI and clicked OK after each edit, how can there be an error?? Why did you not check for the error when I pressed the OK button? How is it even possible that your UI lets me create a rule with an error, it is not a programming language, it is a user interface!
Secondly, what an ignorant unhelpful error message is this? What is the error? In which rule it is? How do I fix it? The message could have equally read "F... YOU!", it would be equally unhelpful and rude!
Not only did I have to abandon all the changes I made, you have also ruined my day!
I HATE YOU MICROSOFT!!!
I've notice that this is partially broken in Outlook 2016 for Mac. We use Exchange and you can add/delete/modify rules in Outlook but when you try to re-order the rules, it saves but then when you go back to see if the re-order took, it does not. If you then log into OWA and reorder the rules it saves properly. When you check in Outlook 2016 the OWA re-order took. So you can't re-order your rules in Outlook 2016 but you can in OWA and in Outlook 2011.

IMAP rules enable sent items to be moved to subfolders with the "Any To Recipient" condition. However, this condition is missing from Exchange rules and the "Sent to" condition doesn't work when configured in Outlook or Exchange. Since moving from Gmail to Outlook 365 my sent items now need to be manually dragged to corresponding folders. This seems counter productive considering exchange is aimed at enterprise clients.

moving mail from server to my computer using rules, as of now, using rules to move mail to different folders are within either server or My Computer. Windows Outlook can do it, so should MAC.
